Lovely home! Amazing setting. Hosts were wonderful! They were responsive to all our needs and took great care of the home and property. I’ll miss the amazing views and all the animals that visited. The home is lovely and very comfortable
We had a wonderful time as a family staying at this lovely home. It’s in such a beautiful nature filled and wonderfully landscaped setting, and you will feel right at home. We will definitely be back!
Our +3 month stay at this property was phenomenal. The home is so much more stunning in-person - very open, perfect layout - with a beautiful view of the Long Island Sound from the primary bedroom. It felt like home immediately upon walking in. We felt safe, comfortable and are sad to leave. A 5 minute drive to Rowayton - which we took advantage of every morning to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich at the charming Rowayton Market. Rob & Lisa were both extremely easy to contact, very communicative and very easy going. So grateful for them to open their house up to us and for treating us like family. You won’t regret staying here for a moment.
Rob and Lisa were lovely people, which was crucial since we stayed during Covid crisis. To give you an example, a very tall food delivery truck ran into the cable lines which shut down the internet. I FaceTimed Rob to show him what happened and he immediately called the cable provider and waited on hold and got then to come out ASAP. Easy text communication. The pictures and description of the house are spot on. Thanks for hosting us!
The property was a awesome place to relax. There was great views of the water and we had deer that walked thru the yard in the morning. The house had windows everywhere so it was so bright you thought you were at the beach. Overall a great place to stay and relax.
Lisa and Rob are amazing hosts. Very quick to respond. The house is spacious with all you need and fully stocked very convenient to everything. The sunsets are amazing!
Great property. Great owners.
First off, Lisa and Rob are prompt and thorough communicators. They answered all of my questions along with any additional key information. They also provided a binder in the house with lots of details on the surrounding area. Second, the property is fabulous!!! The main level is spacious and well-decorated with a stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The rain shower bathroom was a treat. The outdoor space has a grill, table/chairs, hot tub and convenient parking area. The owners provided us with beach towels to enjoy the hot tub, which we certainly did! Third, the location was ideal. The owners left us beach badges to use. The beach was a short walk away where we had access to lounge chairs, kayaks, and amenities. It is a nice, quaint beach where we were able to relax and soak up some sun. Then, SONO was a quick Uber ride away, costing about $5. There were great restaurants, bars, and a bakery. I recommend checking out the happy hour scene. Also, it is not too far from Westport Massage, which is worth a visit to indulge in a foot rub. The house is in this surreal spot where you're close to the highway, city, woods, and beach all at the same time. Overall, we had a lovely stay and experience. Rob and Lisa clearly put a great deal of care into their home and provide extra special touches as they welcome others to share it. We are definitely hoping to come there again in the future. My only hope is that after this review, it will still be available!
We rented this house for two weeks while we were in town to visit friends and family. The layout of the house worked perfectly for our family of five, it had a well stocked kitchen (including some homemade sweet tea and muffins which were a nice treat when we arrived!) and bathrooms, including bath and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable, and the views from the house were beautiful!
My family had such an amazing stay at Rob and Lisa's home! The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might need. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable (the master bedroom is just spectacular!) and the bathrooms are great too. We loved using the outdoor area, including the hot tub, and enjoyed peaceful afternoons at the private beach or simply napping in the hammock (for 2!) under the trees. The view from the house is breathtaking! The property is located minutes away from South Norwalk, which features delis, restaurants, coffee shops, the Norwalk Aquarium, and some night life. Lisa and Rob are wonderful hosts, responsive, and flexible. They did everything to ensure that we had a great experience. We highly recommend!
