The house was ideal for the number in our party. Upon our arrival, we could not access the property because the owner changed the code and the property management company didn’t know or didn’t share that information with us. However, when we told them about the code, they were responsive and apologetically. We loved the ideal location. The kitchen is well equipped but the coffee maker needs to be replaces because it is super slow!! We would definitely recommend this location to friends.

The location is great, view beautiful. The house needs some updating, Carpet on stairs and bedrooms were dirty and stained. Had problems locking the door. Otherwise, nice stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Be Dazzeled for one week in August 2025. We too, were dazzeled by both the location on the water, amazing sunrise view, comfortable space with water view and seating everwhere, and the amzing location that is close to the many attractions and actvities for our family 6: two grandchildren (13 and 11), their 2 paents, and the 2 of us-the grandparents. One suugestion: You should clearly state in the listing that 2 of the 4 bedrooms are in fact in the [walkout] basement.

First, the home wasn’t available at check in time- 4 on. The cleaning crew didn’t finish until almost 5 pm. Next (big one), the master bedroom bed broke, which has clearly happened before because the bedframe was cracked and had a bracket to repair it in the past. We had to move the mattress onto the floor to sleep the first night. property management team was definitely great and responded to our issues quickly. Additionally, there was a multiple lights that needed to be replaced. The last example was the leaves were never cleaned up from last fall and there’s still a big pile in the lower part of the yard. With all that, the views are stunning.

Other 3 bedrooms are pretty quiet. The bay is beautiful in the backyard and at the time of our stay, there was a sandy beach. We would stay here again!

This property is one of a kind right on the water! Rooms are big and spacious and it was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Highly recommend!

The rental company (Lindsay and Jason) were very responsive. Even got a phone call Saturday evening when we couldn't figure out how to get the TV working! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for a family gathering. Of the 4 bedrooms, 2 were huge, and 2 were tiny. Not a great setup for 8 adults.The rest of the house was quite nice, with several seating areas inside and out. The firepit on the patio is a nice feature, but the motion sensor floodlight absolutely killed the night-time atmosphere and made star watching virtually impossible. Several lights in the house had burnt out bulbs, which caused some issues.Road noise is almost constant, as the house is right on highway M22. Aside from road issues, the location is convenient to Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula. On the positive side, the house has a great view of the bay, and sunrises were wonderful. No dock, but the lake level was down a bit, so we actually had a small sand beach.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The location can't be beat, under 10 minutes to Traverse City and right on 22 for easy access to so many MI landmarks. The outdoor space is also incredible with a big back yard for games, large deck and patio for meals, and a small but private beach perfect for floating and enjoying the lake (bring water shoes, it's sandy for a bit but then rocky). The house itself had great space, we loved the big living room with the bar and views, but it definitely needs work as recent reviews also state. Paint scuffed, old water stains, outdated decor, heavily used furniture, and many burnt out light bulbs. Also be aware that one of the basement bedrooms isn't great, with no closet (but a strange door to a sauna?) and right next to a mechanical closet for constant noise at night. There were also some annoyances like a sprinkler system that ran all the time and a flood light over the patio that would come on at night with no switch to turn it off. There are a few inaccuracies in the listing (only 1 bathroom has a tub not 2, and the bed descriptions under Rooms & Beds is accurate, but the written description under About This Property is wrong). Again, we did truly enjoy our stay and we would come back if the house got a face lift, but if you're looking for a high end rental this isn't it. For what they charge, we expected better.
