Waterfront oasis perfect for couples or fishermen.

The location was nice, and the view was great. It was a welcomed break from busy daily life.

Perfect home for my son and I. Great location for fishing. Very clean and nice accommodations. A little tough to park boat in driveway and not enough water to park at dock, but house was very nice and host was wonderful.

Feb 2026. Great back porch view and relaxation area! We spent all day putting together puzzle on back porch and watching the variety of wildlife, including Bald Eagles! Note to self: next time need bring own ice, can opener, bar soap, shampoo, salt and pepper, frying pan, long handled duster, and figure out a way to actually control the thermostat.

Great place for couples to get away for a weekend! Hosts were great as well!

Enjoyed 4 nights here during Thanksgiving. Very convenient to Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain and lots of good hiking at Guntersville State Park and Cathedral Caverns.

Clean, value priced, as advertised, make sure to take plenty of clothes, no washer or dryer. Overall good experience.

Was able to relax. However, was not able to enjoy screened in porch due to cobwebs covering furniture. Several windows unsecured when I arrived. Inadequate amount of towels. Overall was a nice cabin & enjoyed stay.

We had an excellent stay. The house is great, screened in back porch was wonderful and bedding was dreamy! My wife wanted to steal the pillows so now i must research. Only drawback is the steep drive, especially with a boat but was still manageable! Will return next trip to Guntersville!

Loved the place and spent most of our time on the screened in porch looking at the lake. Didn’t take my blood pressure pills for 3 days because my pressure was great! Very relaxing.

The property was in a great location and was very clean. Grrat place to relax for the weeekend. Very close to The Waterfront store which was also awesome.

Overall, excellent experience with this stay! Views are amazing! Pictures of home and land are spot on, while still having room for improvement! Hosts were great to work with as well.

Enjoyed the screened in porch! Perfect stay for couples. Spent our days golfing and shopping at nearby Scotsboro and Gunthersville.

Driveway wasn't good for boat and trailer, little pier was broken

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the lake. After a full day of exploring the Guntersville/Scottsboro area, it was fantastic to come back to this quiet little cottage. Spring time was amazing here as well. Each morning was like waking up in a rainforest with all of the birds and frogs singing to each other. The cottage was quaint, clean, and just the right size for my wife and I. The screened in deck gave a us a beautiful view of the woods and lake and did a great job keeping the bugs out. The large windows and sliding glass doors gave us the same view even from inside the cottage. Thanks so much for a great experience!

I needed a place to spend a few days in prayer and Bible study. This was the perfect place. It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The cabin was comfortable and had everything I needed to be able to focus on why I was here.

Whether fishing or getting away this is an awesome and perfect spot for us. Our 19 yr old son loved that there was a TV on huge screened back porch so he lounged out there, Just a mile from boat ramo. Very clean and and just perfect for us.

Come down to do some fishing have stayed here for the past two years will continue for future fishing trips

Great property

Stayed the week and was very happy with everything about the house. The location was great, giving us several different boat ramp options within a few minute drive. The driveway is a little tricky (steep) but its managable, 2 boats and trucks could fit.

The property was exactly what we were looking for, small little lake house with a great view. The only complaint we had was the TV in the living room was messing up but we did not use it much. Overall. It was great! Gunnersville and Scottsboro both are nice communities with lots to do.

Very quiet area which is what I was looking for. No issues with the check in. The driveway is intimidating but it is U shaped so not too difficult to maneuver. Overall a pleasant experience.

The property is so pretty. The house is so cute and perfect for a weekend getaway! The owners are super sweet and understanding as well. We had a blast!

We loved staying here. It’s close to multiple different cities with lots of things to do. The view is amazing off of the screened in back porch. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable and relax

This is a quaint and comfortable Lakeside cottage in a quiet neighborhood. It’s definitely a good value for the amenities provided. We brought our kayaks and managed to get through the weedy shoreline out to the pristine lake for some nice paddling.

The whole check in process and stay went exactly like one could hope for. Clean and cozy served its purpose for my stay greatly.

Such a beautiful peaceful experience

The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and easy to find. This cabin is definitely not boater friendly. The driveway is very steep and has a hairpin turn at the bottom. We were very glad we didn’t bring our boat. There needs to be better communication about the electronic door lock and the fact that you had to turn on the party light to turn the tv on on the porch.

Enjoyed our stay. Great little house. Close to boat ramps. One thing of note...if towing a boat, it does have a steep driveway and you will need 4-wheel drive to get up the hill.

Great spot for laid back family fun.

This was a nice place overall. The rooms were nice and the back screened in deck was great for watching football. The furniture was comfy. I took a nap everyday on the couch after a long morning of fishing. Two things that could be better: 1) the dishes were still in the dishwasher and we didn’t realize it until late Saturday afternoon. We thought all they had were little mini coffee cups. 2) We did get a bass boat in the driveway despite it being a little difficult. The main problem was that it rained, making the steep driveway slick and tough to get out of without 4 wheel drive or getting a good running go. Overall though, it was a good place that was in a good location and pretty much centrally located to all the boat ramps we put in at.

Smaller than expected, grill in photos was not present. Great places around it. Wouldn't go back.

We LOVED our stay here. I pretty much LIVED on the screened in back porch. The property was just as listed and very clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and have sent the link to friends looking for a quiet get-away.

This was the perfect location to reconnect with friends, to relax and rejuvenate. The property was extremely clean, private, peaceful and was just perfect in every way. The host had everything you needed to make this a very special getaway. The screened in porch was an added bonus to the beautiful interior.
