Waterfront Oasis: Perfect 5 Bedroom Beach Getaway with Amazing Inlet Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 2nd year in a row we stayed at Beach Lane. The location is perfect- close enough to the beach to walk, far enough away that we did not feel we were dealing with a constant flow of traffic. Proximity to Murrells Inlet and Surfside/Mrytle Beach attractions was ideal. The furnishings were clean and generally in good condition. GC Realty maintainence was responsive when we notified them of items that were not working as expected. The only things I would suggest be addressed are major appliances do need to be replaced- the dryer took 3+ cycles to completely dry a small load of laundry, the stovetop did not come to temperature and the dishwasher was quite noisy. The garbage pickup needs to be addressed- there was overflowing garbage when we arrived that was not picked up all week (sanitation company apparently will only take what is in the bin).

Reviewer Comments: When we booked this property, we were hoping it would meet the needs of our family, which consisted of 4 adults and 6 older teens, but it was perfect! We were close enough to the beach that we could walk or use the golf cart, but still had beautiful and calming views of the inlet. The combination of beds and bedrooms worked out perfectly for us and everyone had enough room to gather together to play video games in the living room or relax on the decks with a book.

The rental home has well-appointed amenities and was spacious enough for ten guests, anymore than that would have been a little crowded. The ice maker at the wine/wet bar did not work (We aren't drinkers, so that was okay) and there were a few cosmetic issues with the exterior (Comes with age), but all-in-all a great place to stay.The rental was clean and all the included linens were waiting when we arrived, although one set of king sheets included two fitted sheets, but the linen service brought a new set right over.Check-in and checkout were simple.It was an easy walk to the beach, but don't take a tent or canopy or the lifeguards will ascend on you like storm troopers (I guess drinking alcohol is okay, even though that the first no-no on the beach rules).The rental was within a easy walk to either the Garden City or Surfside Beach piers and centrally located to many local attractions, including Market Common, Broadway at the Beach and a plethora of restaurants.I would definitely recommend this property.

The home is VERY clean, is convenient to the ocean as well as the many restaurants in Murrells Inlet. If I had to make one negative comment it would be that we all wished the beds were made upon arrival. We are on vacation 🙂 The home does have lots of stairs. A flight to the main living level as well as the 2nd story bedrooms. So beware if you are staying with elderly folks.

House was in a great location, was very roomy and fit our party of 18 perfectly. We had an issue with the dryer not drying clothes but maintenance took care of the issue within 2 days. Only other issue we had was the ice machine doesn't work well at all so be prepared to buy lots and if you rent golf carts the outside plugs cannot handle more than one cord or it trips a breaker that is located in a locked closet which was very frustrating. It left us with no way to charge them without dangling cords up to balcony and left us with no outside lighting for most of our stay. Besides those few issues house was great. Loved drinking coffee on beautiful balconies and enjoying overlooking the marsh and waking up to the salt in the air smell. Close to beach and many things to do! Golf cart is def the way to get around the busy area.

The house was very clean and in excellent condition. The only drawbacks were the outdoor furniture was in unusable condition and the beds other than the two master suites were not in good condition. The kitchen was light on utensils for serious cooks. Overall we give the house a rating of 4 out of 5.
