Waterfront Midway Home w/ Sunroom & Large Yard

I felt uncomfortable. The host walked into the backyard.where we were sitting around hanging out and more or less felt like we were being watched.

We had a great time! Have everything we need. Host responsive.

The house was very nice, we enjoyed it. A little bit out there, but some surprisingly good restaurants in town just 10 minutes away (have to go melodys and sunbury crab co).A nice playground and city pool in town as well for those with kids.A quick pop up to savannah or down to jekyll island were great day trips and convenient from the location. However, fisherman be warned the tide impacts the viability of fishing on this creek dramatically. At low tide, the water is so low you can't fish at all.The fishing was pretty poor most of my trip, fished nearly every day of the week using every bait under the sun and only caught two eels.Excellent place to crab if you're into crabbing though.Would recommend for those looking for a relaxing getaway, but if the goal of your trip is fishing be warned there aren't many fish out there.

There was never a dull moment for us! We started at 7 am on the doc fishing, crabbing and kayaking! Spent the hot days inside enjoying games and all of the neat knick knacks, collectables and books! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

We loved the house and the backyard. It felt very warm and comfortable. The owner was so friendly and made sure we were happy with everything. The kids loved the backyard with the fire pit. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful house with all the amenities and comforts of home. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower. They have every appliance and kitchen accessory you should need. The decks and fire pit area made a great outdoor space. Water access is dependent on the tides but what a treat to be able to have access to thus area for the weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Played games, kayaked, canoed, fished and crabbed.Very relaxing stay, in a clean well appointed home.

We enjoyed a quiet few days in December in Midway and enjoyed the large fenced in property with our family and fur family. The back porch over looking the yard was a great spot for morning coffee and watching the birds on the creek. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need both with pots/pans and seasonings. For those who don’t know the area - make sure you grab your groceries and such before checking in as it’s a good 20 mins back to town.

We are all retired and live in different cities. We loved the dock! Chatting and “catching up” was so relaxing as the water flowed by and the drinks were consumed. We enjoyed Breakfast at the beautiful oak dining table, watching a movie at night sitting in the leather chairs and relaxing on the front porch as the sun went down.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean and is located in a quiet walkable residential neighborhood. It had everything we needed including a fenced back yard, ample parking, a hair dryer, iron and a well-equipped kitchen. There was even chopped wood available for the fire pit. There were lots of games, crab traps, kayaks and canoes available, and the dock was a lovely place for early morning coffee!
