Waterfront Luxury Retreat on the Intracoastal

It is a gorgeous property, nicer even than the photos suggest. Sitting and relaxing places all over the place, inside and out. A formal dining room, an enormous eat-in-kitchen with family room. Very well designed layout. It's a touch light on furniture and finishings, likely as it's for sale and likely not to be a rental property for much longer. It is smack on the intercoastal. All manner of water craft sail by. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone. (We got dinged substantial money for the pettiest of issues, which we believe were pre-existing. So, be careful on that count. But, definitely enjoy the house none the less.)

If I was able to give my stay a 0 stars I would have. While the house itself was nice, my interactions with Mirtha Camacho might have been the worst experience of my life (no exaggeration). From the first day we had trouble dealing with her. We agreed upon an early check in for 1pm. She refused to arrive to the house to unlock the gate until 3. Then, at 3pm she scheduled a house tour for potential buyers of the house. I am not sure why she thought that giving a tour during our stay would be a good idea? After that, she took us on an hour long tour of the property, threatening us with fines in each and every room. For example, if you lose this remote, I will fine you a thousand dollars. From the moment we got there she claimed she was uncomfortable with us staying there (a group of 10 Indian people). Not sure if she would say this to a different group of people. After that, she said she will patrol us every day and have the neighbors keep an eye on us, essentially stripping us of any sense of privacy during our stay. She then watched us through her cameras and sent screenshots to us for the slightest things (for example, she saw that one garbage bag was placed next to the garbage bin instead of in the bin, and she threatened to call the cops on us for this). Not only did she constantly barrage my phone the entire weekend with threats for literally just existing on her property, she was rude, condescending, and arrogant throughout the process. She also asked us to put our garbage bags into her neighbors garbage bins, which is illegal. We also asked her every day to heat up the pool (which is an extra fee), yet the pool did not heat up even one degree on any of these occasions. She somehow blamed this on us, of course. To add to this, the group of people I was with spent ~1 hour cleaning the house every single day (even though there is a large cleaning fee attached to this), yet Mirtha was still dissatisfied. The worst part of it all was Mirtha tried telling my group (all 21+), that it is illegal to drink on her property because she does not have a liquor license. She quite literally tried to control our beverage consumption, even though it is 100% legal. When I refuted this point, you guessed it -- Mirtha threatened to call the cops. I am honestly shocked Mirtha is able to be a host on this platform, she has no professionalism and no sense of being a decent human being.

We celebrated a 40th Birthday with 12 people and it was the perfect place for this! The home is beautiful and the location (on the corner of the inter coastal!) and rooftop patio are to die for!

This is one of the most beautiful amazing home I’ve ever seen! It’s exactly like what you see in pics and video! The owner was a great host and was very flexible and communicated quickly! Can’t wait to stay here again in the near future! This place is worth every single penny! You won’t regret it!!

The property was immaculate. It was even nicer than the pictures. Mirtha was very helpful and available at all times. We will definitely stay at this beautiful home again.
