Stayed Jul 27, 2025We enjoyed the water, boats, and ping pong table. The new kitchen chairs and frying pan were great additions to the already well stocked kitchen/dinning area. We love the cottage and Lake Raponda.

Stayed Jun 23, 2025Our second year here and immediately planning for next year. Amazingly quiet lake, great swimming, everything we needed available. Just sorry to have to return home. Next year we plan to finally use the ping pong table.

Stayed Sep 17, 2024We especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake with our own and the owners kayaks. Also, we enjoyed the ping pong table and played many games when the weather was cloudy and the temperatures too cold for swimming.

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Nicest home (of many) we’ve ever rented. The house was very well equipped, the host was available and helpful. Near to shopping and restaurants but quiet and secluded. (There’s even a hiking trail a short walk away.) Guests should be aware that there are stairs to enter the house and that the path to the beautiful lake are rather steep. But worth every step.

Stayed Jun 26, 2023The house has a beautiful view of the lake from the living room window and it was very comfortable. We settled in quickly. It was fun and relaxing to kayak, swim and fish on the lake. The decks were good spaces to read, eat and look down at the water. The ping pong table was a great added entertainment. David was very helpful and responsive with information. And if you do venture out, check out the flea market, Art of Humor Gallery, Wahoo's for shakes, Anchor restaurant for dinner, Haystack Golf Course, MHCA Dover Cinema and Arts for a movie and Dot's for breakfast.

Stayed Jul 24, 2022We loved our stay here. The bathrooms are small and there’s nothing fancy, but it’s a wonderful house with a sunken living room and a dining room above, looking out over the lake. Wonderful views where we ate, played games and read books by the huge windows. The decks are lovely too and it’s a homey, happy place. There are enough boats for everyone to go out on the lake together, and it was a treat having direct lake access. There’s also a trail right near the house so between boating, swimming and walking, one could easily never use a car! We went here after I concluded cancer treatment and it was the perfect place to celebrate and relax.
