Waterfront Lake Martin Home w/ Grill & Beach!

We were very pleased. Everything neat and clean. Beautiful area. Communication with owner was helpful and very friendly.

This is a beautiful cabin at an idyllic spot on Lake Martin. I couldn't believe it had its own sandy beach! It is cozy and comfortable inside with a well appointed kitchen. Tall or great people beware! The bathroom is tiny and your knees may bump into the tub when you use the toilet. I am 5'8 and was grateful for the handbar mounted nearby to get the leverage I needed to stand up. Beds were comfy. One room had nice storage but the twin one had none. Parking is generous and convenient to a ramp to the front door. Plenty of deck and beach furniture to enjoy the view, which is magnificent. I was disappointed in the nonrefundable damage fee which was NOT included in the total cost quoted before booking. It upped the per night price quite a bit, and I have always had the option of purchasing insurance (which was cheaper than the fee) or paying a deposit which was later refunded if no damage occurred during my stay. I would have chosen a different place if I had known the actual cost before booking. The management team was always polite and responsive, although I had to request the address and arrival information before we left home. The local contact luckily answered the phone when we arrived because the entrance code was not included, but that was the last time we heard from them despite several texts and calls about a few minor problems. I am glad we didn't need on site assistance during the week we were there. I won't rent from this company again.

We were never sent the code to get in, we had to get with the host. The host doesn’t accept calls, text only. Address led us 11 miles from the site and when asked the host for better address, she never responded. We had to locate it from Google. Host did however respond quickly to request for the code and to use boat launch. House was 48 degrees. Unit in main section would not keep up. The area was quite and peaceful, but I would not recommend it.

Nice little house. Very nice for the price range. House was very clean and well appointed. Having the dock and landing right there was very nice. House is convenient to Kawliga, and the food there was awesome. The only problem we had was the A/C in the living room. It was turned on but not cooling the room at all. Cleaned the filter and all was good from there. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great besides the fishing was terrible. The lake is huge but barley any bites or catches. Fished 3 days to only get a couple bites

We’ve anticipated a fantastic stay here and it did not disappoint! The house was perfect for our family of 4. The neighboring boat ramp was a cherry on top. The children loved the beach area. The only downfall was the narrowness of the bathroom. Overall, wonderful stay!

Very happy with this property. The beach was awesome, the house was just big enough for 3 of us, the location was convenient to a lot of things. The only 'complaint' I have is there was only one hanger in the whole place. I had to buy some hangers - I left them there for the next guests. The house could use a good deep cleaning - things like the doors, the cabinets, under the beds, etc. We would definitely stay at this cabin again!

I rented this property for Father’s Day weekend, our family had such an amazing time. We can’t wait to book again!

It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Beautiful house, great view of the lake. Very comfortable and quiet. Clean and well maintained. I plan on going back in the near future.

Smaller 2b/1bth lake cabin tastefully updated and very accommodating for a lake getaway. Really enjoyed our time and the peaceful lake even with a rainy forecast it cleared long enough to fish, swim, cookout and just enjoy the lake views.

Property boasts a private sand beach, boat launch and dock. It had everything we needed!

This was a lovely setting directly on the lake. The pictures are just as advertised. Not the easiest place to find, but thank God for GPS. My husband and I were very happy with the accommodations. I would have given all 5's but for two weeks before our reservation I tried numerous times and numerous ways to contact the property manager and couldn't get a reply. I had questions I would like to have had answered.

It was a great place to get away and read, work on my next screenplay, and just get away with my wife for our anniversary. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and visiting the surrounding towns and local shops. The Christmas lights in Alexander City were nice, too.

Although older this little lake house was perfect for a 2 night stop over on our way to Gulf Shores! It was very peaceful sitting on the deck and watching the birds and squirrels. Thank you!

Great Location on Lake Martin. Everything you need is close Ice, Food, Gas and any other supplies. I Met Boaters on the Lake and they took me out on the Lake on there Pontoon Boat.

The location and amenities were perfect. It was close to hiking trails and is very quiet. Check in/out was a breeze. My only complaint is that the it has been a while since there was a deep cleaning of the house. The fridge had spilled liquids in it, almost every dish I pulled out had to be rewashed, the shower mat had other people's hair on it. The linens were clean and smelled lovely. In them. I would stay here again.

Loved the area great beach everything u need except if u have small children the doors on most rentals lock but are easy for smart 2yr old to open and he's a runner . So bring your fake door knob . Otherwise I enjoyed this lake cabin little snug in bath but not a problem,has handicap handles nice view

We enjoyed the lake and view from the deck on our weekend at this cabin. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. The contact person was helpful.

Enjoyed the property for a short 3 day stay. House is very clean and everything is in good working order. Love the view of the lake. Communication with Evolve is good but not the guest contact, who is not responsible to say the least.

We wanted a quite place to getaway for a couple of days and we found it.

This house was perfect for our little stay. Right on the lake, warm, calm water. Nice pier and beach so you had options. The house was clean and ready when we got there. All the amenities we needed. Would stay again.

We’ve stayed several times now and actually returning in two weeks. Perfect spot on the lake for a vacation. Family friendly and close to restaurants within driving distance or on the water.

This small cabin was perfect for our family vacation! The beach area is great for everyone, not just the small children. Nice slough without heavy traffic. Will definitely stay again!
