Its a great lakehouse... i met the owner and is a great guy. The lake is very peaceful. Would definitely rent again

Reviewer Comments: Sorry it took me so long to respond about our wonderful week at Sandy Beach is a lovely home with a great view and beach area just steps away.Our grandchildren love the water.They were able to swim,fish,paddle board and of course use the canoes.Did I mention the relaxing hot tub!! Another plus was that they were able to bring their dogs.Looking forward to next year!! Thanks again.

I have been coming to Edelweiss Village every summer for most of my life and I have to say this property is by far the best. It is so well maintained and clean. We stayed with 4 young children and 5 adults and there was something for everyone. As a mother and someone who has been renting in this village at various different homes, I have to say, my favorite thing about this property is that the linens and towels were included. There was nothing better to me than getting there and not having to make a bunch of beds and then unmake them at the end of the week. I actually got to be on vacation right when i got in instead of getting straight to work. This home is well equipped with a paddle board, kayaks and a canoe. We were on the water every single day. There are two docks on the beach and we enjoyed fishing and hanging out as a family in such a beautiful setting. The kitchen was a dream. We had everything we needed and more to prepare meals and gather as a family. Even though there were a lot of us staying together, the house felt extremely spacious. We were all so sad to leave. Courtney at the Real Estate office was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I hope to return to this home in the future. It is truly a gem and we feel like it was one of the best weeks we have had as a family.

This place is like home away from home with so much to do! Great location all while still being quiet! I highly recommend this home and they have everything you could possibly need! I cant wait to schedule for next year!!!

It’s a vacation rental so we really don’t expect perfection, however in aggregate there are just a few too many missteps. There is a strong moldy smell in the basement that, unfortunately, is noticeable on the first floor. The kitchen is ultimately well stocked and useable but a bit cluttered (why 3 slow cookers?). Many cobwebs in the corners. Bring your own towels as there aren’t enough for full occupancy, the ones provided were put away damp and smelled pretty bad until we washed them ourselves. The mattresses are fairly bad, one frame collapsed as the legs weren’t locked in place. The toys provided are fine though the tan kayak has a severe leak - avoid. The location is excellent, the pond is lovely, and the neighbors were super friendly. Lots to do in town, great options for restaurants, food shopping, and entertainment.

It was restful and relaxing sitting on the large deck. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, water, raft and hot tub.. The beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay. 4 stars because: Kitchen could be better organized (Why is the flashlight in the silverware draw? Where are the big bowls? Gave up on finding the contractor bags.). 4 face cloths are not enough if you are advertising for 10. Replace the ice cube trays.

Fireplace didn't work which was disappointing, especially since we were only there for less than 48 hours and it was raining out. Also, I found the expectation to wash the dishes, sweep etc AND bring sheets kind of annoying since VRBO charges a ridiculous cleaning fee. This is more a complaint about VRBO than the house.One important note for those who are physically challenged. There are three cement steps down to the property and no ramp or railing. House was lovely inside. Definitely perfect for those who like to cook. This was my first time renting a property so I suppose this was more sticker shock than anything. It was a LOT of money for not even 48 hours.
