Stayed Aug 23, 2025It was a great relaxing time with the whole family. The home was very clean, with amenities and essential supplies. The welcome pastry and quiche tasted awesome to everyone!! Fishing was very good, too from the dock. The host was excellent communicator and responsive to my questions prior to our stay. I have already reserved for next year's stay.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025The house was warm, inviting, and super clean. Owners were easy to get in touch with and made the check in/out process seamless. If you bring your boat and it has a steering skeg on the hull it more than likely will not go on the boat lift. The dock is very sturdy with cleats and they also had kayaks and other lake toys.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We enjoyed our beautiful stay at the lake. From fishing off the dock to swimming, tubing, and roasting hot dogs or marshmallows, every moment was delightful. Waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful view from the deck was a highlight. The memories made there, with my family are priceless.

Stayed May 28, 2025The house was SO well appointed! I've stayed in a lot of VRBO's and this one was the best! Loved the views (we got to see the Northern Lights!) and enjoyed the kayaks. The hosts were in touch the whole time, wanting to be sure we had everything we needed. Couldn't have been better!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024We have stayed at multiple properties on Lake Pend Oreille over the years, but this location on the lake was our favorite! Quiet, peaceful, very little boat traffic. House is great - updated, multiple A/C units for comfort, well appointed, tons of DVD's to watch at night, pool table and more towels than you could ever use! Outside the deck tables and chairs are great, the dock is perfect for relaxing and swimming and there is even a boat lift (very important on this lake if you keep a boat in the water overnight!!!). Also, for those familiar with the area but haven't been in a couple of years, Camp Bay Rd. has been paved all the way to the lake! Things to keep in mind for your visit - Lots of stairs to the water but you get accustomed to them quickly (bring coolers to pack down to the dock, leave them, refill with ice and items as needed on trips to and from the house); there is only a charcoal grill (no gas grill), and you need to bring your own briquettes (stop at the Dollar General at the corner of HWY 95 and Sagle Rd.); the house water is on a pump and will stop briefly on occasion (10-15 seconds), so don't panic, it always comes back on!; You have to pack out your own trash to the local refuse station (opens at 8:00 AM) about 10 minutes from the house - there is a pass on the welcome table, remember to bring it with you to dump for free, but you do have to return the pass to the house, so you can't dump your trash on your way out, you'll need to make an extra trip.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024What you see is what you get. Rustic home with amazing views. Definitely not for young children or seniors due to stairs down to the lake & dock which is worth the climb. Nature at its best with humming birds, white tail deer, bald eagles and fish jumping. Only downside is the current construction all day long due to the development of 450 acres just three doors down from property. Bring your ear buds and you will be OK.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We stayed here for 6 nights in July-August 2024. We had great communication with the hosts and all of our questions were addressed. The cabin is a 30 minute drive from Sandpoint. Parking was limited to 1 or 2 vehicles as the cabin backs onto a steep hill. The cabin was well stocked with a gorgeous view. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and towels. The cabin could use more plates, a new toaster, and new pots and pans. The cabin was quite clean other than being somewhat dusty under furniture, on the blinds, and on the window sills. The flow of water from the taps/shower heads occasionally slowed/stopped but would usually start flowing again after a minute or so. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun kayaking, playing pool, watching movies, and playing cards on the deck with our teenagers. We did not have a fire in the fire pit as the conditions were dry. There was a small old briquette grill but briquettes are not supplied. We were required to take the garbage to a transfer station that was a 10-15minute drive away. The portable air conditioning units in the two upper bedrooms were wonderful to cool off the upper level on the very hot days. Overall we enjoyed our vacation at this quiet and private cabin.

Stayed Jun 10, 2024We had everything we needed for a great relaxing stay at this lake house. Beautiful setting with an abundance of birds in the area. There were only a couple of drawbacks: The hosts asked that all accumulated trash be driven over to Garfield Bay. Also, the house is advertised as sleeping 7, but there is an extra person charge of $25 per person per night for any people over 2 guests. We had four people there and were charged an extra $250 for five nights.
