When it’s time to eat, gather at the dining table for meals with a view. Enjoy leisurely afternoons saltwater fishing off the private dock, or spend the day on the water in one of the three kayaks or two rowboats provided. We truly loved the location of this house and the views were outstanding. There are a few items in the house that are in major need of updating. The beds are extremely old and uncomfortable and blankets are very worn. The house overall has an odd smell, and the cranks have been removed from every window so you were unable to open any window to air out. All TVs are extremely dated and only could air a few basic channels when you could figure out the multiple remotes. Bring dvds to watch at night! No wifi enabled speaker system to play music through the house so also bring a speaker if music is your thing (it is ours). That being said, the location and views are stunning and very traditional Cape Cod. With a few minor updates this house could be excellent. We had a great time, the kitchen was well stocked for entertaining and very well laid out. Upstairs could only suit one family with kids, as the second and third bedrooms are open to each other and share a bathroom only accessible from the far bedroom. View from the upstairs bedrooms is beautiful. Having the kayaks and rowboat are a great added plus, and the walk to the beach was lovely. Town is about a 5 minute drive. Beach was a 20 minute walk, or a 5-10 minute bike ride. Sunsets from the deck are gorgeous!

The house is beautiful, kitchen is modern and very well equipped. Gorgeous views over the marsh. 3 kayaks available so we kayaked on the marsh out to the ocean and it was marvelous.

One of the nicest homes that I've ever rented! Clean, well-equipped and perfectly situated on Bucks Creek Marsh. Kayaking, biking, beach all right there!

We arrived at night during the recent late Sept. storm for a long weekend getaway on Cape Cod. The beauty of the location wasn't apparent until the next morning, and despite the howling winds and rain, it was stunning! The marsh was filled with water birds of all kinds and the view from the large windows lent a feeling of being in a house boat! The appliances and furnishings were upscale and we appreciated the many seating areas for eating, lounging and watching tv. The Wifi worked great! Our stay in the house was very comfortable but being seniors, we had to watch our step because of the dozens of different sized area rugs and runners protecting the home's beautiful wood floors. As mentioned in a previous review, the mattresses are very firm, so plan to bring some toppers if this will be an issue. To sum up, we think this is a wonderful property for families and groups vacationing on the Cape and we hope to return, minus the bad weather!

We loved the location of the house and the view this property commands. nothing short of breathtaking. This house also resembled like the ones we grew up, and immediately we felt like we were home. Kids loved fishing crabs and other creatures on the property and beach was very close by as well. We met Joe (the owner of the house) on the last day, and he told us you could catch stripe bass during June and July right on the property. We loved every minute of our vacation and cant wait to go back.

We've rented this house for many many years and we love it. The owner (Joe) takes great care of the property and is always available in case of any issues. The open floor plan is amazing and the ability to be in the kitchen while having an incredible view of sunsets on the water is truly unique. We've spent many a night as a family eating outside on the deck as the sun goes down and created some great memories. Would highly recommend this property!!!

Beautiful views from house over salt inlet/pond with wildlife at low tide and kayaking at high tide. House was clean and very comfortable. There is a lot of room to spread out and enjoy the views but still be together as a family. Near Harding’s Beach. Wonderful vacation and very pleasant stay.
