Waterfront Home with Pontoon, Movie & Game Room-Perfect for Families & Getaways!

Enjoyed our stay!!

This is our second stay at this property. Our group appreciates the large island for food prep and game playing. The dart board, pool table and theater room are also a hit.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property to others! The home is not only very unique, but it was also spacious enough for our large group! There was plenty of space for activities, which made this the perfect place for our family! The heartland is just a short ride from the property so we got to enjoy a few hours on our sleds as well! Park Rapids is also conveniently located so we were able to spend a day shopping and eating great food in town!

This home was the perfect place for our family to gather for a winter long-weekend getaway. We had 15 people ranging in age from 7 months to 73 years old, and the house accommodated everyone beautifully. With seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, it’s set up perfectly for families.We enjoy cooking homemade meals together, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—there wasn’t a single item we found ourselves missing. The icing on the cake was the sledding hill. We brought plastic sleds, which worked well, and Kelly even texted to let us know there were tubes we could use next door, which took the fun to another level.The game room was also a hit. I learned I won't enter a dart tournament anytime soon. LOLWe’ve already booked the home again for 2027 and hope this becomes our annual gathering spot.Kelly was quick to respond to any questions - great communication.

Beautiful home perfect for our family Christmas!

When we arrived for our family holiday gathering, our host, Kelly, had the house decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and the fireplace glowing. The seven bedrooms gave us all a bed to sleep in and the whole house worked so well for our family. The game room with pool table, darts and a poker table was very popular. The movie room was also a great spot. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Amazing property!

This home was perfect for our group of friends! It is spacious and well-appointed, with everything in the kitchen we could possibly need, plenty of bath towels and comfortable bedding. Each bedroom allows for individualized cooling, making it perfect for this group of I'm cold, I'm hot friends. The owner was extremely gracious, promptly answering my questions even though I was oblivious to the information posted in the house and was asking questions that were clearly answered in information sheets at the front door and in the kitchen. When we did run into one minor need (dishwasher detergent) he delivered a supply immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better host! All in all, I would highly recommend this VRBO and should our group gather again in Park Rapids, I suspect we will want to locate here again.

Awesome property and host. We had a blast!

We had such a wonderful time at this spacious home! We were 18, 10 adults and 8 children. There was something for everyone to enjoy! The young ones especially liked the beach area and enjoyed fishing right off the dock! We also spent a lot of time on the pontoon. We had beautiful weather all week, so that helped. There is such a big yard! We enjoyed playing yard games in the big yard and also the bonfire area in the evenings. Kelly was so kind and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Second time we have rented the house. Family get together for 13 of us. Plenty of rooms. Kitchen area and huge island very accommodative for our group size. We also rented the pontoon which was enjoyable on the lake. It was a rainy week so the theatre room was a big hit with the family. Kelly was easy to work with, which added to the experience.

Great place for our large extended family. Sleeping areas are mostly separated off from high traffic areas which helped a lot with our littles. Nice sandy beach with slow sandy drop off for kids wading. Nice quiet protected spot on the river/resivour with the big lake not too far of a boat ride.

This property provided everything we needed for our family. The cabin has plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the screened in deck with a lovely view, the patio outside the master bedroom, the downstairs theater room & game room, and the kitchen area. The kitchen has just about everything we needed. We had little ones who loved the private beach area with a shallow entry and crystal clear water. The pontoon was great, too! Kelly was responsive and helpful. We look forward to going back!

Well maintained, just as described, a fun week's stay with family on the river and lake, had a wonderful time.

Thank you for a wonderful week! This VRBO is a great place to gather with family or friends. The living areas and bedrooms are clean, spacious, and so accommodating! The kitchen is well-stocked, bedroom and closets have hooks for clothes and drawers, flat surfaces, etc. to store things. The game room and movie room are perfect for hours of fun. There’s a basketball hoop outside and a volleyball net… basketballs and volleyballs are right there for our use too… which prompted us to notice how this owner had pretty much thought of everything! … and we were reminded of that often during the week when we looked for something…. it seemed we always found what we needed.:) (even sand toys down by the beach!) The big lawn space was especially nice too for corn hole tournaments, kick ball, baseball, frisbee, etc! Great fishing off the great dock for little ones wanting to fish. And we so appreciated being able to leave our boat in one of the available slips all week. If there was a “6 or 7…or 10 star” rating to give this place, we would! But since there isn’t, we will give it the best we can, and lock it in for the 5-star. :) It was absolutely perfect for us… can’t wait to come back again. Thank you again!

Our group had an awesome stay! There were lots of activities to do to keep us entertained inside and out. Kelly was very communicative and the check in/out process was smooth. Will recommend this booking to anyone looking!

Great house on an excellent location. I was surpised on how well the rooms were sound proof. We could put a baby to bed upstairs and the adults and teens could make noise down in the game/theater room without disturbing the young ones.

We had a great stay! The property was the perfect fit for our families. Something for all ages. The beach was perfect for swimming and the kids enjoyed playing pool, darts and watching movies in the movie room

This property was wonderful. It has a large and fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, really nice showers and huge televisions. Also, the little things (like the electronic dart board) actually work. It's a very spacious house with a beautiful view. Everything was exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner was very good.

This is a fabulous home! It us unique in its contemporary design and its very well appointed, set on gorgeous grounds. Everything gif our retreat was perfect! Rent this home. It’s absolutely a standout and I’ve rented many for the retreats I host. It’s perfect for big groups and offers so much room.

Was a great place to get together with old friends. Everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The space was well appointed. It was nice the way the bedrooms were set up. People could sleep in, get up early, take a nap, cook, etc without disturbing others. While groups are great, all the couples appreciated the ability to get away for downtime also. We will probably be back next year!!

Family weekend we rented this property. Beautiful area and the home had enough room for 14 of us to sit together for meals, but enough room to spread out and get away from each other when needed. Game room got a lit of use and home theater was awesome. Only downfall is the address listed didnt match location in our GPS. Had to use the VRBO app to find the actual location.

The property was beautiful, well maintained and equipped for fun, activities, laughter, and good ole’ family bonding. Teens can be difficult to entertain but this charming place will do all the work for you! Highly recommend!

Great place to take the whole family. All 19 of us were accommodated nicely and there were plenty for the kids to do as well. They especially loved the theater room. The property was nice and clean when we arrived. Kelly had great communication with me the whole time and always replied to my questions within a few hours of asking. Everyone is already talking about coming back for the summers now!

This property was well appointed. The kitchen had any appliance, utencil or cookware needed. Lots of space for friends to spread out. We enjoyed the game room with darts and po the most. We loved the large island to play group dice and card games. Owners were vert attentive to any needs we had.cards.games.

The space is great for the wide range of ages of the family. The game area kept the kids entertained while the adults visited as meals were being prepared. The upstairs living space was great for family games. We definitely would stay again.

The property is as it appears in the pictures, nothing atrocious is hidden like with other rentals I have paid for. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, even in the chilly October weather. The piano (a really nice keyboard), pool table, and dart board were utilized every day, several times a day. Overall, it was exactly what I was expecting to get.

We all had a great time. Lots of things provided for fun activities. Will come back again, warmer temperatures though so we can go in the water.

This is our second time in the Park Rapids area and all 16 voted to return in the future! Our email communication with Kelly during the process of booking and prior to arrival was excellent. By the time we got there, we were all ready to have a great time with no concerns or questions. Everything was as stated. In fact, except for going to the headwaters of the Mississippi at Itasca State Park (well worth the pretty drive) and to pick up more groceries and fishing worms, we spent our time on the pretty property/river/ lake/home. What a perfect place with so many activities/amenities for ALL ages! It was exactly what we all wanted for our lake vacation. Thank you and God bless!

This is the second time our group, 5 families, 9 adults, 8 children have stayed at this property. Meets and exceeds our expectations and needs. Will be back in the future. By the way, the fishing on Fish Hook Lake is pretty good too.

We really enjoyed the house. Plenty of space and really like the game room and movie theater room. We also enjoyed the large yard for volleyball and other outdoor games. Our only issue was the high level of weeds off the beach. Heavy weed cover started about 15 feet from the beach, which was fine for the 4 year old, but not for the 2 preteens that want to swim in deeper water.

Our family, including our five children & their families, traveled 8-12 hours to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. This lake house offered us so many opportunities to gather as a group in the kitchen/great room area as well as smaller groups on the 3 different porches. Privacy was possible with the ample rooms & 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed swimming-kayaking-fishing-Olympic watching -campfires-shopping at some unique boutiques in Park Rapids as well as worship time together on Sunday!. So many great memories were made! Our family of 16 (ages 7 to 68) stayed for a week in July. The home is exactly as described and the kitchen is a dream. The second refrigerator downstairs was an added bonus, as was the rain shower heads. We rented the pontoon for 3 days. Kelly directed us to a sandbar in Fishhook Lake. It was a great place for the kids to swim and play in the water. In the evenings, we took adults only sunset cruises. The home theater was a hit with everyone, especially the teens. Kelly was quick to repond to texts and answered all our questions. He was very easy to work with. There are a ton of things to do in the Park Rapids area. We drove to Itasca State Park to see the Mississippi headwaters, drove go carts and water bumper boats at Evergreen Fun Park, played golf, went shopping downtown, and of course, did some fishing. And we actually caught some!
