The beds where hard and no lighter to light the stove. Other than that it was very nice.

The house was amazing!! Perfect quiet secluded location and the perfect amount of room for a girls weekend!! We look forward to making this an annual trip!

This was awesome! Kayaking out every night right off the boat ramp. Be careful, the boat ramp is slimy and we watched a guy slip and crack his head. Get a crab pot, enjoy! Love this place. Great place for our family of 6!

Beautifully renovated, spacious, clean, well equipped! There is nothing we can say negative about this house. Would stay here over and over again!

updates were very nice, probably one of the nicest homes we have stayed at in avon so far. new fridge, gas oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave. showers were redone recently too. the only complaint we had was huge roaches. there wasn’t very many during our stay but there were a few, hate that.

Loved the classic beach cottage feel of this property! The stunning views of the sound from the house and catching the sunset by kayak were some of the best i've seen in 48 years. To be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and ice-cream shop was an added bonus. Fishing off the bulkhead and crabbing off the dock, followed by a relaxing soak in the hot-tub rounded out this completely immersive outer banks experience! Will definitely stay here again!

The house and location was great, we definitely took advantage of the water being at the back yard. I think the biggest complaints was that the house was not clean, and the main entry door was a nightmare to negotiate due to keys being very poorly cut.

The house is on one of the Avon canals but right at the edge of the sound for easy access to open water. The house is more spacious than expected, and having only one level is nice. It's also a short walk to the beach. We will consider this house again for our next vacation.

This was our second year in a row in this home. It’s quite a bit more specious than it looks from the outside. We like it because there is only one set of steps to go up unlike many homes that are multiple. It’s always clean and has everything you need for your stay. A couple of things this year that were a concern. The charcoal grill rusted off and was laying on the ground. We couldn’t use it. We also found one side of the railing on the small deck was very loose. We had to remind our kids to stay away or someone could lean on it too hard and fall off the deck. The main refrigerator was broken but the realty did have a spare in the house and functioning for our stay. However it was really small and we couldn’t put much in it. But it worked so no big deal. All in all, we love the home and for the price, it makes it a reasonable option for those that can’t or don’t want to spend the amount of money many of the houses there are commanding.
