Stayed Aug 8, 2021We have been coming to Cape Cod every August for 25 years and have always stayed with friends. When we couldn’t come up in 2020 because of COVID we made a vow to book a place for the entire month this year. We wanted a house that was quintessential Cape Cod, on the water and we wanted to be able to walk into town. This home delivered on ALL counts! The house is spacious and immaculate with so much character and the best stocked home we have ever rented. Ann was amazing and so quick to respond to questions. We had different sets of family and friends join us each week and lifetime memories were made with each group. From watching our 1 yr old grandson learn to walk on the beautiful lawn, to daily morning walks to the village coffee shop and the beach, to Happy Hours and dollar oysters in the village and grabbing steamed lobsters at the fish market and bringing them back to eat on the patio. And I think we helped the village market make their annual quota in wine while we were there.! We literally had everything we needed within walking distance. But when we did venture out further our location was perfect for getting everywhere on The Cape, especially the proximity to Hyannis and the ferry to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Even our friends who have lived on The Cape for years couldn’t believe how amazing this house and location are. Thank you for sharing it with us. Thank you for helping us make memories with friends and family that we will treasure forever! We cannot wait to come back next August!

Stayed Aug 30, 2020This is an exceptional rental home. The view is magnificent, the sunsets breathtaking, the home beautifully appointed, with everything you need. It is in a very nice neighborhood, and easily accessible to everything. We were sad to leave. Ann is a pleasure to work with, was quick to answer any question. We absolutely LOVED our stay in this beautiful property.

Stayed Aug 9, 2020Two families had a wonderful week in this beautiful, spacious, clean home with a perfect location in Barnstable. The house is well-appointed with many spaces for kids and adults to hang out separately or together. Sleeping was very comfortable. The neighborhood is perfect for biking and walking. Town, which has ice cream, restaurants and a coffee shop is an 8-minute bike ride/ 20 minute walk. The bay is warm (rocky so water shoes are a must) and great for swimming, crab hunting and kayaking. While we brought a kayak and a SUP, we were a large party so we also appreciated the kayak at the home. We ate dinner every night in the huge backyard with gorgeous sunsets. Bring bug spray for the evenings. We are so glad we stayed here!

Stayed Jun 30, 2019We had a lovely stay with two families with young kids at this property. The town and the neighborhood are really quaint; coffee , general market and ice cream were all a 15 minute walk into town, a sandy beach and a great clam shack were 30 mins walk (or a 2 min drive). The Barnstable beaches were fantastic for young kids and we really enjoyed having the beach parking passes provided by the owner. Hyannis is a 15 minute drive away which is really convenient for tours or day trips elsewhere on the Cape. Grocery stores and everything you could need within a 5 minute drive also. The house itself is well decorated, clean and has a great Cape vibe. There’s a beautiful view of the bay in the backyard and from the living room too for hot or rainy days. We went to the beach in the backyard everyday. It’s a rocky/muddy beach, but the water was great for swimming and fishing. The backyard is huge and our kids loved playing there (although bug spray is a must for the visit). We had everything we needed while we were there: bbq is great, kitchen well stocked, sheets and towels provided, a lot of games/puzzles for kids. The owner was friendly, answered questions we had during the booking process, checked in on us upon our arrival. Overall this was a beautiful property and great home base for a fantastic week on the Cape and we would absolutely return!

Stayed Jul 7, 2018You can't control the weather, but even Mother Nature graced us with perfect weather during our week stay in July. We had such a blast with our family in this lovely home. We never felt crowded with all the room this home allows and everyone felt comfortable. You don't want for anything in the kitchen, it allowed us to prepare whatever we needed having supplied all pots, pans, utensils besides using the gas grill daily. Sometimes twice a day! Shopping is close by as well. We all took neighborhood walks day & evening & even to the Tavern down the street. This home is in a perfect location, the view is beautiful and it's decorated to make you feel right at home. We loved it & hope to return next year. Don't even hesitate to rent here!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family had a great stay at the home on the bay. Outside was fabulous with a large yard for the kids and bay beyond for fishing and kayaking. The inside fit our needs and we did a lot of cooking for our family of 10 including grandchildren of varying ages. The town market had everything and the coffee shop and restaurants were so convenient. We would highly recommend this comfortable home on the Cape. Bring water shoes and insect repellent for outdoors!

Stayed Jul 14, 2018This spacious home on Salten Point was perfect for my family of 10 (6 adults, 4 children). The house was clean and nicely decorated. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out, while also having numerous options to sit together to read or play games. The backyard was wonderful - the kids spent many hours playing catch and tag, and digging for shells on the beach area at low tide. The adults all enjoyed the relaxing view from the patio. It's a short walk (about 20 minutes) to Barnstable Village, where there are cute shops and dining options. We had a fantastic week and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
