The beach area is large enough for all parties to maintain a proper social distance and interaction with neighbors is limited to a wave or simple greeting.

The property was exactly as advertised. The kids had a great time fishing, kayaking, and swimming on the bay. If we find ourselves needing a place to stay in St Mary’s again, this property is top on our list!
Really enjoyed our stay - relaxing on the beach and fishing off of the dock. A great, quiet break. Would definitely recommend.
My family and I stayed at this house for just a few days, but we loved it. What a beautiful house , specious, clean and updated. Unique location gives you access to a beach on one side of the house and dock on the other side of the house. You can see water from all the rooms. The owner of the house Sarah was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Cannot wait to come back again.
We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, spacious, and had views of water on both sides. We can't wait to return when it gets warmer out so we can actually enjoy the beach but we sat on the docks every sunset and used the firepit! Kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to cook, and we made a whole Thanksgiving meal. My only complaint is there could be a couple more comfy chairs in living space, 6 of us on the one couch did not work...and there's plenty of room for more furniture. Otherwise trip was great!
My childhood buddies and I have been renting this place every year for the past few years for our annual Boyz Weekend. I cannot say enough good things about this property. Having the creek on one side of the house and the Chesapeake Bay on the other allows so many opportunities for fishing, crabbing, and wildlife viewing. Plenty of bald eagles and ospreys...Not to mention a few keeper rockfish wee caught from the Bay! We'll be back! The West Annapolis Boyz
This was the best possible vacation for us. The property was beautiful, clean, lovely in every way, and hit our sweet spot for outdoor activities. The property owner was a wonderful communicator.
This property was gorgeous. From the huge bay windows to the sparkling floors to the amenities, Mark’s Beach House had it all. My family and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend and we were not disappointed. The views were spectacular. There was easy access to the beach. The serenity from sitting either on the deck or on the beach and watching the boats go by was immeasurable. The night sky was amazing. I would say if you are looking for a completely private experience, this property might not be for you. We found the neighbors to be wonderful and the caretakers to be a huge help. There was even a bottle of wine and a lovely note note left for us. I would DEFINITELY recommend this property, it does not disappoint.
We had a great time relaxing at the house; enjoying the water views, the sounds, fishing off the dock, checking out the river from the canoe. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and basic cooking oils and seasonings so you can stock with your food and not leave until check out if you like. We did check out several local seafood restaurants (Hideway, Kevin's Corner and Captain Pat's were good all good). There are places to rent boats and explore the rivers (highly recommend if you don't bring a boat.) Leonardtown was a late find for us, but looks like deserves at least a half day of exploration. We discovered the Craft Guild Shop (local artist creations) there and ye old pub. If you like local art and crafts or antiques or want unique Maryland souvenirs, check out Cecil's Country Store, so many neat items! This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever, away from everything except when we didn't want to be. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!
We had a great week at Mark’s Beach House, and Sarah was a thoughtful and wonderful host! Our family enjoyed playing games in the backyard and watching all the birds. We cooked meals ourselves most days and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was an easy drive to the grocery store to stock up. The canoe brought entertainment too! We had great weather all week but the couple times it did storm it was beautiful watching the storm over the water. The best part for us was the peacefulness and serene beauty. Thank you so much!
We had a relaxing trip! The home is super clean and the views are amazing.
