Waterfront Escape on Lake Granbury: Deck & Patio!

The house was just what we needed for the holiday weekend. Quiet and comfortable. We got to enjoy the Granbury parade in the morning and an amazing firework show from the balcony at night.

I was new to Granbury and stayed at the hilltop cottage while on my new home search. I am so glad I found this place because it was the most relaxing, cozy place. I have rented in a long time. During my home search in the area I stayed at several different rental homes and this was by far the most accommodating and comfortable. The place is tastefully decorated. But not overly so that it crowds the atmosphere. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen is already provided. Including a blender, a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Toaster, mixer, and more. All of the kitchen items and appliances are in very good shape. Both of the bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are quite comfortable and have huh quality bedding. The bathroom stands out with a beautiful tiled, shower and has great quality linens, and basic toiletries provided. The main living area has a nice cozy sectional couch, with plenty of throw blankets to get really comfortable while watching television, or just gazing out the large glass doors at the view of the lake. It’s hard to describe how serene it is sitting on the front porch overlooking the lake. The house sits on a cliff, which gives perfect views of the lake and the nature all around you. There is plenty of birds to keep you company and an occasional roadrunner or bunny. The second story porch has comfortable seating with a fire pit table and also comes equipped with a gas grill and utensils. Turn on the small Edison lights at night and you have a wonderful place for conversation and making memories The proximity to town is about 15 minutes where there is so much to see and do it will keep you busy for way more than a weekend. The townspeople are extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner is very friendly and responsive. I only had a couple of questions, but they were answered very promptly.I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a perfect spot for a family of four or a couple of friends that just want to reunite and have some fun on the lake.

The house was cozy and decorated very nice. We enjoyed the deck and seeing all the birds. Wish the hummingbird feeder would have been out as in the pictures. Overall a nice & quiet area. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was very appreciated as we needed a gap residence for our relocation while we waited for occupancy of our new home in the area. The view of the Brazos River is spectacular from the raised deck and very cozy! The inside very fresh, clean and comfy. We really loved the selection of TV channels (Netflix, Paramount, Apple) just like home at the click of a button. The landscaping needed attention but we did have many days of big spring storms to encourage growth. We had a very comfortable stay for our needs. We would stay here again.

This place is awesome. I never needed anything that wasn’t provided-/laundry soap, wine opener, Cleaning supplies etc. clean and great patio.

Clean with newish appliances. We used the electric fire place, propane fire pit. The shower is excellent! Great space to share a little time with family, and relax.

My Mother, Sister & I decided we needed to start taking little trips here and there since Dad passed away. This was our first one and it was Amazing! Place was so so cute. The attention to detail was evident everywhere you looked! We loved the quiet, off the beaten path location-can’t beat the view. Thank you for a beautiful place to start our memories together.

This is a great place! Lovely decor and comfortable. Nice lakeview from the deck. About 15 minutes from the Square. Quite neighborhood. I highly recommend this house.

This is a very nice place. It was clean and decorated very nice. Beds we’re comfortable, kitchen well stocked with anything we needed. We loved the porch with its view of the lake. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a place near lake Granbury.

The house had a great view especially for 4th of July fireworks. Clean house and easy entry access.

Loved this property! I loved the water view from the deck and even in the summer it had a great breeze to allow to be out in the late afternoon n early am. Updates to the property were fantastic so beautiful. Very quiet. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice house, quite, location, very clean, and, kitchen supplied utensils. Only down fall was no water or dock access, if it wasn't for the 2nd floor deck, I wouldn't know I was even close to the water. Because of the weeds, We had to search for a boat ramp, found one about 6 miles away, but had to load and unload the boat. No docks.

We loved everything about this property! It wad so calm and relaxing. The space was clean and stocked with so many unexpected amenities. I forgot the coffee and was overjoyed to see some Kcups and creamers in the drawer! Additionally, the appliances and cookware were so wonderful! Lastly, we had to reach out to the property manager prior to the trip and she was incredibly helpful and friendly! Definitely looking forward to booking again in the future.
