Ranch House with Private Pond and Horse Stalls

The Loop House was an excellent place to meet up with family for a weekend getaway! Great accommodations and private lake is a bonus!

We love this Ranch House! This is our second year staying, and we'll be back. We have a family reunion in Granbury each year at my aunt's house on the lake, and we use this house for extra lodging. It's perfectly appointed with plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone. We love that there are four private bedrooms with King beds, and it's all one floor (we have several who can't climb stairs), which is unusual for a house this large. The beds are super comfortable, too! The pond behind the property is nice to look at, and we enjoy sitting on the back porch at the end of each day. The kids always love making S'mores there, too. Great home!

My friends and I have a yearly tradition of getting away for the first weekend of Spring Break. We live in DFW and have four kids between us ages 0-3, so a short drive to Granbury was just the thing. The property was beautiful. Ali did an amazing job of communicating everything we needed to know ahead of time. Kitchen was fully stocked with all of the tools we needed to cook for ourselves. We had a few questions come up during our stay and the host always responded very promptly. The house was wonderful, exactly as described. We had three families and a singleton, and there was more than enough room for more people if we’d wanted. The adults enjoyed the pool table after kids went to bed, and the grill was nice for steaks. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit, but the outside area is very nice. The kids also enjoyed running around in the big yard and getting to see the horses. Also so close to everything you could want to get to in Grapevine, just a few minutes to nearby parks and the downtown square area. Definitely a good value for the rate we paid, and a pleasant trip overall. We would happily visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Loop House in Granbury. The location was perfect -minutes away from the square, city beach, city pool and parks. Super convenient to highways for travel to Stephenville, Weatherford, Lipan and 45 minutes to Fort Worth. The house was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay at the Loop House again! Thanks!
