Waterfront Escape | Lighted Boat + Fishing Dock!

Spacious home. It was a great getaway. Communication with the host was great.

The location is great and the dock at the house made it nice for fishing. The condition of the house would be rated as fair as it seemed maintenance or replacement wasnt priority. The rust on the fridge making the door not seal properly and the bare wood floors upstairs that i questioned if i was going to get a sliver from. The drywall shows signs of separating at taping probably from moisture and the locking doors on ground level have knobs that are rusting off. 1 toilet was broken and 1 you had to wiggle handle to stop running. We let PM know on checkout of issue. Internet was down the duration of our stay. The precheck in list they send of items you should bring is no joke as it included extra blankets as there is zero extra bedding in house and only thin coverlets on the beds...not ideal for people who are traveling by air as you will be buying stuff to make your stay more comfortable. This is first vrbo for us that was swept clean of any extras left by prior guests, like ziplocks, laundry soap, spices,or even garbage bags outside of the standard garbage bag they mention including in precheck list. Overall the location was good, the house was fair, but overall we would probably not stay here again unless we didnt have other option.

Great clean home.

The space was great. However, when raining and you have to walk around the house to get upstairs that is less than ideal. Would be great to have stairs from the carport to get to living area or at least to balcony area (maybe on side).

I've stayed at many VRBO's and this property listing was the most deceptive I've ever seen. The bottom level is filthy and broken up. There is no access to upstairs unless you go outside. Dirty and torn bed down there. Broken floor. Who would use it. Kitchen dirty utensils rusted. The upstairs bedrooms mattress filthy dirty and stained. The refrigerator rusted and dirty. Stove under coils filthy and every time we cooked the house smelled of burning ash. We couldn't use anything until we scrubbed it clean. No pillowcases on upstairs pillows and they were dirty. The deck furniture filthy and covered in bird poop. The only thing they didn't lie about was the view.

The check in & check out were pretty easy and straight forward. The view is gorgeous and the house is really spacious. We had spotty cell service so the WiFi came in handy. Bring extra towels, if needed, as only 1 towel is provided per guest. FYI - there is no coffee, spices, condiments, foil, etc for cooking, so bring your own. But we were advised of that prior to arriving. The house has 3 stories, however we were only able to utilize the top 2. (Not sure exactly what the bottom is used for but it is furnished.) Also, be aware there are a ton of mosquitos under the carport which is where we unloaded all of our luggage and such. The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a great place and we had a wonderful and relaxing time here.

My family enjoyed their stay at the property, it was a nice getaway next to the water. We fished each day but unfortunately didn't catch any keepers. The team members were pleasant to work with and very helpful.

We had a great time and made many memories with family celebrating our Mom’s 80th birthday. Perfect set up for us! We received all needed information for easy check in and had no issues that we needed to contact anyone. Reservation system was quick and easy.
