Waterfront dog-friendly home w/ free WiFi, central A/C, a dry sauna, & firepit

The space was great to gather our family for Christmas. We loved the games, cozy living room, comfortable beds and amazing view.

This is the text I sent property manager upon leaving. I waited to hear back how they handled the issues 2 weeks out and they did not verify that the cleaning staff had improved the cleaning, broken things fixed, and would not compensate for having to clean the house for 2 hours ourselves. I texted property manager We had a nice stay. It is a nice house and a great location. I did not text about the house before because we were on vacation and it would not have been restful for our family. We just had a death in the family and needed to be together. Mainly the house needs to have a deep clean. It was not even barely cleaned when we got there. We ended up cleaning it ourselves. There are many areas that need deferred maintenance and it you don't take care of them then it could become significant problems. We have rentals ourselves so understand all this. HOUSE SUGGESTIONSDRYER NEEDS REPAIR, terrible noise(Can’t be in house with it on)Door into master bedroom upstairs: the door is loose on the hinges and is dragging on the floor There should be a working hot water faucet in the main bath upstairs CLEANING: Clean all floors, including under couches and bedsCouches had dust, hair balls, trash, and dirt under them Windowsills were very dirtyView windows in dining room and living room were very dirty. Washed them to enjoy view. Kitchen breaker tripped whenever we used more than one appliance towels and sheets were not clean, they had hair in them and stains

The view is spectacular. Such a lovely relaxing property on the water. Plenty of space for a family with room for everyone to relax.

The home had a beautiful view of the ocean & was in a good location for our family reunion group. The place was fairly clean, but a little dusty. It could use some updating & refreshing of paint & caulking. Two of the upstairs bathrooms don't have hot water at the sinks. There's a nice outlook with seating at edge of the yard and a sauna. No hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed, including basic spices & coffee/tea. Overall, it suited our needs and was a good home base for us.

The house was in an amazing location, the property management company was extremely responsive and even brought us ice. There were a couple of things I feel like people should know before they rent this house. The cleanliness was not great. The floors were pretty dirty, many of the bedroom windows do not have blinds, the Wi-Fi is awful, I mean awful, the refrigerator turned off three times during our stay the property management company said that they would be sending somebody out to look at that, and they mentioned this in the listing, but they don’t provide very much toilet paper at all, and I found this to be very strange. Most of the beds were pretty comfortable. The twin bedroom with the two twin beds were not good. The landscaping and grounds were not maintained so there was lots of weeds. The house worked perfectly for what we needed, but the quirks were something to be noted.

We loved our Family Reunion time together. The experience was great. Property Management has some details to improve upon, but overall a good time was had by all.

Family stayed for a weekend. Ample room for us all, nice location to gather and beautiful view from many rooms. But it is a dirty property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a moss covered, filthy front porch and doormat that is well past useful. The silverware, glasses, placemats and cooking utensils were all food covered or dirty. We had to wash everything before use. The primary upstairs shower did not drain at all and the shower curtain hangs well into the tub, so it is a dangerously slippery and disgusting experience. Plunger didn’t work in primary sink since the handle is missing. There was at least one bed pillow with a blood stain. The walls and stairs are dirty and so unappealing to look at. Extremely disappointing for the price we paid and all the added fees for pet (who caused less mess then what we arrived to) and late checkout. Finally, the back deck is an amazing spot to catch the afternoon sun but it is so narrow, it is dangerous for people to get to chairs, lest falling off the edge. This is our fourth annual family trip to celebrate grandmas birthday, so we know there are much nicer places to stay on Whidbey. These owners should clean up and fix up before they offer this place as a rental.

The house worked out well for our group of six. The view was wonderful. We watched three eagles one morning. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The house is dated and there was some cleanliness issues. The internet was not satisfactorily. But overall it was a good place to stay for our group.

This was a nice size home with very comfy beds, and the perfect size for our group. We all had our own room - which was GREAT!. I it only 4 stars because there were things in need of repair, and in one of rooms needed to be cleaned better.

We enjoyed our stay. Some of the appliances in the kitchen need upgrading. Could not get the microwave to work. Stove top was hard to figure out and the heating elements were inconsistent.

The view is the best aspect of this rental.

Perfect! We had 9 family members staying together. Assortment of bedrooms worked wonderful. Large dining area and TV / living room space terrific. Gorgeous view. Really appreciated the early check in. Overall fabulous experience!

My ladies group rented this home for our annual get away and have decided we want to come back here every year. It’s a very unique period home with huge rooms and space for everyone. The view from the wall of windows is amazing! It has a very well stocked kitchen. We would have given it 5 stars except for a few deep cleaning items that would make it better. Make sure to bring bottled water for drinking.
