Stayed Aug 23, 2024Upon arrival, we were greeted to a welcoming wave and smile by Kyle the property manager. Kyle was wonderful to work with over the phone and took care of booking issues promptly. We truly enjoyed our stay in Holderness. The unit itself was very cute and adequate for our stay. However, we would like to have had some coffee on hand in the kitchen and perhaps some glass microwavable containers to use during our stay. The kitchen is very minimally stocked as far as cooking is concerned (minimal cooking utensils, and pots & pans). If you want a bottle of wine, remember to pack a corkscrew. In addition, you must bring your own bedsheets and towels (something we have never had to do at a vacation rental). That said, this is disclosed in advance and would not deter us from staying here again in the future. The lake is beautiful and you have free access to their Kayaks and Canoes; and you are very near the Science and Nature Center as well as Kirkwood Gardens. It's also a very short drive to Meredith and Moutlonborough. Overall, a really nice weekend stay at the Boulders. Thank you!

Stayed Jul 21, 2024We really enjoyed our stay at your property. The lakefront was extraordinary, great and ample beach, pristine waters and loved having access to kayaks. The apartment was thoughtfully renovated, we like the mix of new and vintage elements. The screened in porch was great for looking at the lake and watching the moonlight on the lake.

Stayed Jul 15, 2024When we arrived we entered the pin given for our suite, as described. For some reason our kitchen wear (silverware, dishes, whisk, spatula, and one pan) were not clean, jelly, dried batter, and grease were left-assuming it was previous occupants. But I just washed them up, would have anyway. Rooms had some candy wrappers on the floor, but again easily put in the trash, bathrooms clean, fridge clean! So nice to have two bathrooms and porches, especially with two kids, added delight. Listing stated two different bed sizes, twin over twin and then twin over full. Hosts very responsive and said it was separate full beds, however to my kid’s delight it was a full over full bunkbed (had the right sheets regardless) when we arrived! Great location, lake area was nice and clean, never overwhelming with crowds. Kids made friends. Kayaks and life jackets available. We wish we used a fire pit, but didn’t get around to it. Ice cream across the street, and many places nearby to visit. We drove to Polar Caves. Poor rental’s well pump died and we lost water for a few hours, host visited suite to give an update and we did touristy things during that time anyway, so didn’t ruin our stay by any means. Would definitely go back if we decide to visit this area again.
