Very well furnished home with very comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked, amd plenty of toys, chairs, and beach supplies. Location is perfect very close to downtown st augustine. Elevated was great foe our 90 year old grandfather. Only downfall is the steps down to the beach can wear you out when chasing young kids back and forth, but that's pretty much true with any home on the south end of ponte Vedra.
We enjoyed our stay at WaterColors. I did not encounter any problems. The house is very clean & tastefully decorated, not cluttered, comfortable beds & has all the amenities that you will need. The ocean view & well maintained boardwalk which was a close proximity to the beach was another plus. It is only about a 10 min drive to Old St Augustine with some good restaurants along the drive & also conveniently a Publix supermarket. The communication with Judy Wren was excellent & contributed to a comfortable stay. I love St Augustine & try to vacation there every year. This is my first stay at WaterColors & is now my favorite rental.
Our second visit to WaterColors surpassed our expectations once again! The open upstairs floor plan was perfect for our family of 12..including a year old baby, and we like the new flooring and outside deck. The house was immaculate, and I have already recommended the house to friends. We enjoyed eating at Caps on the Water, and we also liked A1A in St. Augustine. We'll probably come back again next year!
My husband and I stayed for a month at this house. Our 3 children all visited at the same time with their spouses and our grandchild. Everything was great. Beach is beautiful and view from deck is amazing. Nice large deck which was important to us. The inside of the house is very clean and modern. Upscale and even nicer than the pictures. Seemed very private. Owner takes care to make things nice. Would definitely stay again.
This was a beautiful home! It had every thing to make our stay perfect. The beach location was amazing. We are looking forward to staying in this home again! In fact, I'd love to go back right now! Make sure you go into St. Augustine and eat at Harry's. Great food, great service.
I have 4 children plus their partners/spouses and Watercolors accommodated us beautifully. There were lots of places to play games, socialize and eat. A very attractive house and very functional! We loved the deck and beach as well! Judy was great to deal with and I highly recommend this house to anyone that wishes for a lovely place to stay on a fantastic beach!
My son and I wanted to get away to a quiet place right on the ocean and Watercolors was the perfect getaway home! Would recommend to all of our friends and family...
Our week at Watercolors was all we dreamed it would be plus so much more. The location is ideal, the layout of the various rooms flows perfectly for a large family like ours...six adults and six children (including a new baby). Judy and Bill have thought of every need we had...from all the various kitchen utensils to even a plastic baby tub! We loved the wonderful uncrowded beach, and it is worth every cent to join the Serenata Club. Judy and Bill are so helpful and accommodating, and we highly recommend this property to anyone. We usually go to a different spot every year for our family vacation, but we all agreed that WaterColors can not be improved upon. If our schedules all work out, we will be back next year!
Our family had the best vacation ever at Watercolors! The house was supreme luxury with every amenity that one could ever want. It was clean and well stocked of all necessary items. The house had beach chairs, umbrellas, surf boards and all sorts of toys. The gas grill was wonderful to cook steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs. We loved that each level had its own entrance and privacy. It was also convenient to restaurants and the Publix! Exploring St. Augustine was an added treat. One big hit was that Eric came and surf fished with the grand boys! I even caught my first fish. It will be a vacation that our family will long remember and hope to duplicate again!
This was our 2nd time at this house and we had a great time. The new bathroom and removing the pool table really made the lower level great for the kids. We had a 12 month old, 3, 4, & 6 yr old along with 5 adults and the house was great. Lots of beach toys for the kids which was great. Dealing with the owners has been great both times and I would definitely recommend this house to any family or group. The finishes of this house are also very nice and we felt like if there was something we needed, the house had it. It had 2 cribs, baby monitors, and a booster seat as well. Only negatives I can think of would be the beach has had some erosion since our last visit 2 yrs ago and you do get some highway impact which every house in that area has. Overall though both times we've rented this house it was great and we all would stay at this place again. We had my nana's 100th bday party at the house and had food catered in from A Step Above Catering Company who were also very good to deal with and had very good food that was reasonably priced. We also did the dolphin discovery one day with our 4 yr old and we loved it. We just did the feed and touch and would do it again. Very cool experience.
