Natural light fills the home’s living quarters through windows and transoms that run the length of the home, where indoor space flows easily to the outdoors. The covered wraparound porch — one side screened with convenient kitchen access — opens at the front of the home to a well-kept green space, trail, and natural park area.

“Rise and Shine” offers coastal cottage charm and detailing through its hardwood floors and shiplap walls. Brimming with light, the 3rd floor opens into a wonderful tower space, equipped with a wet bar, daybed, TV and balcony overlook: a perfect place to curl up, take an afternoon nap, or lose yourself in a book.

“Rise and Shine” offers 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a 4th bath on the main level. The 2nd floor master bedroom overlooks the park green, dotted with trees.

Another green, designed in a perfect circle shape, sits behind the home. While this property allows sanctuary, it boasts one of the closest access points to WaterColor Crossing, with Publix grocery store, Pizza by the Sea, and a new Perfect Pig Restaurant on the way.

Dragonfly Pool is just a stroll down Wisteria Way and offers an outdoor grilling area. All other WaterColor amenities can be reached on bike. Enjoy nature trails that meander around Western Lake. A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed Rise and Shine! The home was nicely appointed and very clean upon arrival. Instructions were clear, and the amenities were perfectly described. Laidback family time away, with plenty to do with the kids. We appreciated the friendly, quiet community. The upstairs loft was a little warm, but the balcony offered a nice breeze - it was a perfect spot for an older teen or young adult.

    Property is dated (FFE needs to be replaced) and there are only 3 useable bedrooms. The 3rd floor bedroom doesn’t cool down and the balcony door doesn’t lock. It needs a minisplit to properly cool the space. Tankless water heater needs to be installed as it takes over 2.5 minutes for shower to heat up. Air quality needs to be addressed. The pillows and comforters were lumpy and super thin. No dressers to store your clothes while you are there. Once it is remodeled and a good interior designer is hired I think it would be a good place. Otherwise, it’s only suitable for a family of 4 or 5 and it’s priced way too high for that.

    Nice house with lots of room. We walked or rode bikes into town or to the beach daily. We had a problem with the hot water heater. At times we didn’t have hot water.

    The house was perfect for our stay ,except the hot water was sporadic and the ice maker did not work. We had to report these problems a few times and the response was ok. These problems were the only damper for our stay. I don't know if we will use this service again.
