Washburn Beach House. Private Beach, 11.6 Miles from Bayfield!

The location was excellent for what we needed. The hosts are quick to respond to your texts or emails.

Beautiful views and everything needed for a very enjoyable visit & stay. Was exactly as advertised. Communication was great so we knew exactly what to expect. Great location to everything we did. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Had a lovely weekend at the Washburn House! Could not ask for a more beautiful view and perfect location (proximity to Washburn - cute little town with everything you need and good restaurants and coffee - North Coast!). Place was as described, clean, and had everything we needed. Lots of outdoor seating options and you can’t beat the sandy beach. Check out Tesner’s dairy nearby and Houghton Falls. Would 100% stay here again.

Midweek 3 night stay. Communications with management were efficient and accurate. Check in, no problems. The property was as expected. The pictures are accurate. Being on the water is a huge asset. It has the “cabin” feel. Wondering if they got a discount on the “cocktial” sign on the beech…

Loved our experience. The view was beautiful. Beach front was great. When the lake was calm, we could walk out into the water about 100 yards before it started to get too deep. House had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Our family stayed here for a couple nights to enjoy Lake Superior. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed our time at this home. The kids played in the sand and we loved being able to watch out the window as the rain came down. The owner was very responsive and helped us out with everything we needed. The is a great place to stay for some rest and relaxation!

It was nice

The house was like advertised. It was right on the beach and the house was close enough to hear the waves if the windows were open. We were lucky and saw a family of loons on the lake throughout our stay.

The lake house was an awesome getaway for the family. With the apostle islands and many waterfalls close by, there are tons of outdoor activities. The view of Lake Superior is wonderful and great way to wake up with the sunrise.

5 sisters stayed from Nov 1-5, 2024. Place was cozy could have used a good dusting, but other than that it was wonderful. Right on superior even though it was chilly the view is awesome. Had a great time went shopping and out to eat. It is close to a lot of shops just a few miles down the road. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Our family of four enjoyed our time at this cute and comfy lakeside home. The views of the lake were amazing, and we loved the time we spent on the private beach. The water is shallow and warm enough for swimming, which our kids greatly enjoyed. This is definitely a great house for spending lots of time on or looking at the lake, which was top priority for us.

This is a wonderful location with a fresh breeze coming off the lake during the day. 6 people were easily accomodated--5 adults + 1 child 3yrs. Within easy striking distance of Bayfield.

We had a great time at this house on Lake Superior. We chose it based on its private beach front and closeness to Bayfield. Had zero issues. Would stay again if we were ever in the area. Thanks!
