Beautiful home with a view of Mississippi! Love the open concept on first floor, kitchen had everything you could possibly need! Awesome game room on top floor with projector screen! Enjoyed a walk on the beach which is within walking distance of the home. This was our annual girls trip weekend and this home was perfect!

This is a wonderful house. The views are great. Very clean. The kitchen is awesome. Great island that everyone could gather around. The 3rd floor has tons of games,puzzles,large screen tv. Pool table and dart board. Close drive to Prairie Du Chien. Firepit in back yard with ample seating. Cant wait to go back.

The home was beautiful, very big and clean.it had all the necessities that you would need.

Owner, Joyce, was great from the start of the booking until we left after our stay. Easy to communicate with, answered texted questions within a few minutes. Easy check-in process, easy check out also. House was awesome for our needs. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms were large enough for our needs. Living room on first floor along with large kitchen and eating area. Game room on third floor was perfect for four guys to relax in. Large screen TV and plenty of things to watch. We played cards at poker table, billiards at the table, sat around bar and enjoyed one another's company.The four of us have been traveling to different areas and staying at Vrbo's for roughly 5 years now and this house met our needs the best so far. Prairie golf course was10 minutes away and green fees were very reasonable. Food and bar area were great there. We also drove to Platteville for a round about an hour away. The house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, great living areas, garage large and clean, plenty of activities to keep you busy inside of the house and nearby. 2 places of note- The Porch in Prairie du Chien was about 15 minutes away but has great ice cream and was well worth the ride. Also in town was The Angus supper club where we had a great steak meal (little pricey but well worth the cost in our opinion).If we return to this area in the future, and if Joyce still has her Vrbo for rent, we will definitely be staying there again. Great experience and great house.

We had an amazing time at the Wondering Warriors Retreat!! We annually gather in the spring as a group of 6 friends and this property has been the best stay we have ever had! Everything was clean and well stocked for our arrival. Check in was easy and simple and Joyce the host communicated well with us during the stay. We spent time hiking in nearby state parks, the ladies in the group did some shopping in Prairie du Chien as well as McGregor. Joyce had left a comprehensive list of places to eat, things to do, shops, and information for us. The beds were comfortable and furniture was excellent. The 3rd floor game room was spectacular and the views of the river awesome. Hands down, one of the best property we have stayed in on VRBO. Thanks for a great weekend!!

We atv/utv rode doing the day. At night we took advantage of firepit and game room on 3rd floor. I would recommend this property to anyone. It's loaded with all amenities.

Beautiful and fun house. Grandkids had a great time in the game room. Well suppied kitchen. No bunk beds as expected but it all worked out. Only downfall were the frequent trains at night.

Three couples in their early 50s had a great weekend at the house. Enjoyed a fun Friday night playing games in the amazing third floor. After a morning hike overlooking the rivers and PDC, we came back and watched the Badgers upstairs. Awesome viewing experience on the world's largest pit couch (that claim cannot be verified, lol)! The trains are a definite nuisance for light sleepers and be careful on the steps but as our rating suggests, we were very, very happy with everything. Great location. Great hosts. And a great house!

We had a small group stay here for a few days. The house was very comfortable and has everything you would need to keep you entertained during your stay. We had a campfire each night, played pool, watch movies on the projector and relaxed in the hot tub. It is also spacious enough to have your own space if needed! The location was great! Although there are houses around us, it still felt very private. A short walk to the beach, a quick drive to the state park where we hiked one afternoon, and not too far from Prairie Du Chien where we got groceries and ate at Eddie's Irish Pub! I would definitely recommend this stay!

This home was very clean! The owner was great to work with! We very much enjoyed all of the games, puzzles and relaxing time spent together.

Beautiful area and views, beach within walking distance, and the property impressed us all. The property is roomy and plenty of games, movies, and entertainment to keep us all busy. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. Our trip was relaxing and memorable!

Wonderful house and very spacious. Our family loved the game room and view. A bit disappointed that the interior especially kitchen wasn’t cleaner. I found left over bread in oven wrapped in foil and had to clean floors when arriving. The kitchen sink leaked water and had to clean up under sink. Overall would recommend this property to others. Thank you.

The owner of the property was easy to work with and the property was a described. The game room on the 3rd floor came in handy as it rained and stormed while we were there. The was a book with places to eat and things to do for those not from the area. We were very appreciative as the owner called to warn us about severe weather heading our way and to be on the look out for tornadoes. We would stay there again

The house was wonderful! We had three little kids with us and the third floor was perfect for the adults to play cards while the kids went to bed early. The house was very clean and spacious. We absolutely loved our stay!
