described at end of Seaview Road, when it was at the bottom of an unmarked road, or driveway, that was a left turn, at the start of Seaview. We were helped by a personal visit from your staff, who solved the problem, but I'd advise you to change the directions and mark the driveway. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and beautiful cottage!
This cottage was great for our family of three- small but very functional, nestled on a pretty hillside property. Enjoyed finding the beautiful views from the town landing and the Mill Pond conservancy trail, both nearby in the neighborhood.
The home was nicely renovated and felt nestled in a quiet setting, surrounded by trees. We loved the roof deck. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking fresh fish almost every night. It was easy to ride our bikes on quiet roads to the beach and could access the bike path near the Orleans bike shop.
Cute, cozy cottage in East Orleans. It was just right for me, my husband, and our 10-year-old son. We cooked in/grilled most nights, so the full kitchen was great. Made plenty of use of the washer/dryer as well. Loved that we didn't have to bring our own linens or arrange linen rental! The only thing that would've improved the setup would be Netflix/Hulu access, but we survived just fine. :)
My daughter and I had a perfect 4 days together before I drop her off at school 4000 miles from our home in CA. I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting and perfect cottage for bonding and sharing some time together. It will be a memory for a lifetime.
We were so pleased when we arrived, the place was clean and inviting! The Delmar company was very responsive, and quick to meet any of our needs. We will definetly book with them again!
It was a lovely, if tiny Cape Cod cottage. We mostly enjoyed our stay. Because of COVID, we mainly cooked at ate at home, and we had the tools to do that comfortably. We were a short drive to Tonset Beach, where we launched kayaks to paddle over to Nauset Beach nearly every day. The ocean-side was practically a private beach with the exception of the seals who would stop to ask how we're doing before moving along. The only negative was an uncomfortable experience, where my kids and I had a quiet dinner on our rooftop balcony one evening, and one of the neighbors called the management office to complain about us trespassing on other balconies (which we were not). The management office then called us to remind us to stay on our own balcony, which was both unnecessary and it left a sour taste. For this reason we will likely not return. If you can ignore the neighbors, the house itself and management were great.
Cute little cottage on a quiet road. Just what we needed! Family of 3 with enough room for us to spread out. Close to amazing Nauset and Skaket beaches. Lovely morning walks. You can hear the ocean at night. No view from the roof deck but still nice to stargaze at night. Too hot during day to sit up there. Great location to go and explore outer cape. We also took advantage of the Cape Cod Rail Trail and brought our bikes. Would definitely come back!!
The cottage exceeded our expectations. Very well maintained, clean and cozy. My wife was thrilled by the number of hangers, hooks and storage for her clothes. The location is far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful and tranquil, while being convenient to surrounding areas.
The property is in a quiet area with easy access to all points on the Cape. The home was modern and clean. The cottage was so comfortable and we easily settled in to make it our home for a few days. The staff at Del Mar Vacations were very helpful. We will be back for another stay !
We had a wonderful stay and this rental unit was perfect. Not too big but not too small. Very clean and well maintained and even though there are other cottages right next door it felt very private. It was cool enough to have a fire in the fireplace which was very enjoyable. The roof deck is a nice touch on a cool, sunny day. The customer service was excellent. No complaints whatsoever! I would, and may, return for a repeat visit.
