Walk to the canal and downtown!!! Cozy 1880 Fully Renovated townhome

The place was clean and very comfortable. Property manager was attentive and helpful. Will definable stay again when I’m back in Frederick

We so enjoyed this cozy house for our holiday trip to visit family. The backyard yard was perfect for our granddaughters run & play on the manicured lawn. The house had everything we needed especially the kitchen where we cook daily! The location is exceptional… we walked everywhere. Parking was available right in front of the house too! We definitely will be returning on our next trip to beautiful Frederick, MD

The home was lovely and perfect for our stay. Everyone we needed was available, and the house was exceptionally clean. We loved the distance to downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. Danny was extremely communicative. Thank you for a great stay!

Danny was a wonderful host. He allowed us to check in early and was very communicative.The unit has some great features. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated, and the location is about a 10-minute walk to town.There were, however, a few things that would likely keep us from booking this unit again. The heating system was difficult to regulate. Even when set between 60–70 degrees, the house became very warm (it felt closer to 80 degrees). One of the bedroom window units did not seem to function properly, so we weren’t able to use the fan or AC to cool down the room. Since the windows also cannot be opened, this made for a very uncomfortable night sleep. The bathroom sink is quite narrow.While the home appeared clean overall, it would benefit from a deeper cleaning. We noticed visible dust on blinds and light fixtures. One member of our group has a dust allergy and was affected during our stay.Although the property is technically walkable to town, there is a stretch without a sidewalk where you must walk along a main road or cross without a designated crosswalk. This felt uncomfortable at times, especially after dark.Lastly, we did notice a strong smell of marijuana on several occasions during our stay. We understand this is likely outside of the host’s control, but it’s something future guests may want to be aware of.Overall, Danny was a great host, but the unit ultimately wasn’t the best fit for our needs.

Spacious, comfortable, neat and clean

The house was very well maintained, quiet neighborhood, it was close to downtown and my friend and I really enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful property if you plan on visiting Frederick MD. Easy to get to, easy parking, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the historic downtown attractions. The property is super clean, cozy and has all the amenities you’d need. Fantastic comms with the owner…highly recommend.

We toyed with the idea of staying at at hotel - not as close to downtown - and I'm so glad we opted to stay at Danny's place. It was super cute and quaint and we definitely appreciated all of the very convenient touches, especially the fully stocked coffee bar. Prior to our stay he was also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient to downtown Frederick, quiet, enjoyable location.

We had a great stay in Frederick in this quaint, historic building. Lovely and clean space, quiet street just outside the main streets where you can find great bars and restaurants. Definitely within walking distance to downtown and parking was super convenient and easy. I would definitely stay here again- perfect for a couple.

Just around the corner to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to canal and city parks. Perfect for family with young kids.

Lovely house right by MARC station and easily walkable to all Frederick has to offer. It is an old house and has window AC units but other than that the renovation looks nice / works. Owner was helpful / commuinicative.

Great place. Does have 1 bathroom which we already knew. Worked out well. Would prefer maybe small L shape sofa so more than 2 people can sit back and watch tv.

Everything was as listed, clean & inviting.

This property is cozy, comfortable and very close to downtown. All the amenities we ended up needing (dishes, wine opener, wine glasses, shampoo and conditioner) were included. If I come back to visit Frederick, I'll definitely stay here again.

This row house was perfect for two people. Super convenient to Marc train station and an easy walk to Carroll Creek greenway and all of the wonderful restaurants in downtown Frederick.

Great location, super clean, well appointed and all of this comes with an exceptional host! Danny is a great communicator and goes above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. Beds are comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Danny also provided local recommendations for restaurants etc.

We were in town for a wedding. This accommodation was perfectly located near the highway exits and conveniently close to downtown without worry of lots of circling of the downtown’s one way street. Will be back.

This is a very comfortable, clean and well furnished apartment located on a quiet street next to the heart of downtown. Market street restaurants and the canel are 5 minute walks. A good sized kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils, and included a dishwasher, microwave and electric stove. There is a washer dryer on the second floor. Everything worked.

We were looking for a central location to allow a walking weekend of downtown Frederick. The homes' location allowed us to walk over to the train station and then to Carroll Creek Parkway in minutes. All the main roads easily accessible to explore museums, visitors center, shops, arts and restaurants. The home was immaculate, fully accessorized and Danny, the host, was available for all questions or assistance.

We enjoyed our stay here, the housekeeping was immaculate, the kitchen very modern, and the space downstairs was generous and inviting. Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors and easy parking. My only concern for seniors like us (in our 80s) was the steep staircase to the upper floor and the big steps in the front with no handrail. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very well appointed clean and a perfect set up for our family. It was exactly as advertised and we highly recommend this place especially if you want a break from a hotel. It is walking distance to Main Street and in a nice quiet location. We will definitely be back.

The apartment was exactly as described. Very nicely decorated. We felt safe and comfortable. It’s a perfect location to take a walk along the canal and downtown. We would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Visiting family and the property is very close to restaurants and shops. Easy to get to/from major highways. Highly recommend!
