Walk to Surfside Beach: Poolside Oasis

First and foremost we really enjoyed our time here. One block away from the beach, awesome pool, 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths. The neighborhood is really nice, a few really good restaurants within walking distance, Surfside pier is also just a couple blocks away. There were a couple things that could have been better, but those can be fixed very easily.

We had an amazing stay! The house is not only beautiful but also perfectly located — just a short walk to the ocean and close to great local restaurants. The large pool was fantastic and made our vacation even more enjoyable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

The rental home was one of the best I have rented to date. Very clean. Decorated very nice for a beach location. Great beach access. Close to restaurants and shops. Area was not over crowded. And pool was a nice extra. Highly recommend it.

Great house, loved the layout. Great beds, great bathroom size. I want to say great vacation spot but then it will never be available :)

This house was outstanding. Great location and a really nice pool. I highly recommend this property. Very clean and well maintained. One of the nicest place I have ever stayed. I can't think of anything wrong with this house. Loved our stay.

We have stayed in many rental homes by the beach for years. This one was just beautiful! We all loved the size of the pool, plenty of room in home, the outside space was the best we were there most of time. We will definitely book this again next year.

I absolutely loved this beach house! The location is perfect. The house in general was awesome! Layout of house was perfect! The pool was amazing! The quick walk to the beach!! Perfect!! I’m def going to be booking this location again in the future!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Pelican and would definitely choose to stay here again! We loved the location and convenience of being within walking distance of the beach, pier, and restaurants in Surfside. Our little girl absolutely loved the pool! Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, our experience was great! The only recommendation I would make is to provide a nice outdoor grill on the property to use and it would have been absolutely perfect!

This property was very clean and despite what the listing says, towels ARE provided (just not beach/pool towels). We brought our own because it wasn’t clear. The beds in the bunk room aren’t comfortable (for adults) but other rooms were great. It’s a quick 5-min walk to the restaurants, pier, and beach.

Overall it was a great place, a few things I reached out to them about. The dryer doesn’t dry well. So my suggestion would be not to count on washing and drying towels.

The house and property were well maintained and clean. The layout of the house was good for us, 2 families with 5 kids. The pool was nice and maybe slightly larger than some others we saw in the neighborhood. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to access from the street behind the house. This was a very positive experience and we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Family enjoyed our stay, the house looks like the pictures and the location is a perfect short walk to the beach.
