Walk to Surfside Beach: Home w/ Pool Access

Property was as it showed in pictures. Comfortable but outdoor furniture was a bit rusty. Overall we enjoyed it

Large roomy house with big kitchen! The layout is great! You do have to walk through the 3rd bedroom to get to the 4th bedroom but that was not a problem for us. Our teens loved having the adjoining rooms! The location of the house is perfect. Short walk to the beach, although we rented a Golf Cart ($60 per day) because we also had friends staying in another part of Oceanside Village. The front gate/guard house is just off Hwy 17 and accessed with a hanging car tag provided at check in. But you will likely want to purchase a key card to be able to go in and out the other gates on the property, one of which is directly across the street from Oceanside Village's private Golf Cart parking and beach access. The Key cards are $30 with a $10 refund if returned at end of stay. The House was well stocked. Could use a casserole dish or two (we brought our own), but otherwise Kitchen was well stocked. Bring your own Blankets! Plenty of sheets, towels and wash cloths, but no blankets. Great communication with Owner!

The house is in a cozy little neighborhood right across from the beach. Gate access by the house requires a $30 deposit ($10 refundable)which wasn't clear on check-in. Easy walk carrying chairs & small cooler. The decks around the house helped provide plenty of space for the 5 of us. A little surprised to have to walk through 2nd bedroom to acess the 3rd bedroom and 1 bath for 3 bedrooms required some coordinating. The kitchen & bath supplies are modest, but enough to be able to do some cooking at the house. We loved the Conch Cafe located on the beach, one block from the house! Paul was accessible for questions, which was helpful!

It was a wonderful place, like a home away from home, where our family felt safe, laughed a lot, played games inside when it rained, and stayed at the beach. There was no need to go anywhere else! We all felt so welcomed by the residents and staff. Paul was very kind and responded quickly to any questions we had. We hated to leave. Still regretting we had to come home! Great stay! Great host! We will be back!

Great place to stay! Quiet, 2 minute walk to the beach, house is very big even with 6 people. Top of our list to stay in again.

Spent the week of the 4th of July here! Great house! Bigger in person and what the pictures appeared! Everything was clean and supplied!
