Stayed May 21, 2026We had a great time at this well-equipped and well-kept house. With the location being just a few steps from tide-pool beaches and a seafood shack, and with kayak access to the tidal river right in the backyard (if you time the outings to match the tides), our family including 4 g'kids age 7 and below could have spent the long weekend without ever getting in a car. But of course Orleans has numerous diversions as well, and we had a great time exploring them. Our hosts were clearly well-versed in providing resources for families, and we were very appreciative of all the toys and games and the fact that all the game parts were there! We felt welcomed from the start and our hosts remained attentive to our needs throughout our visit.

The backyard view of the marsh was absolutely serene, and the hammock made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t be more convenient—right in town and just steps away from a cozy little restaurant with the best lobster rolls.The host was incredibly thoughtful, leaving clear and helpful instructions that made settling in a breeze. They also surprised us with a bag of snacks, which our four kids devoured within minutes—such a sweet touch!Inside, the living and dining rooms were full of character and ideal for family game nights. There were plenty of beds, so each child had their own space and privacy, which made a big difference for everyone’s comfort.Highly recommend this spot for families looking for a relaxing and well-appointed getaway!
