The property is in a nice location. Easily assessable to area towns. The house is located on the end of a cul de sac like neighborhood with water on 3 sides. There is a nice yard/green space with several places to sit and relax in the backyard including chairs, hammocks, benches and a fire pit. The outside amenities available need to be assessed. The small johnboat was missing a plug (we did pick one up so we could use the boat). The grill is rusted out and not useable. We enjoyed the kayaks and appreciated having them to use.The house is large and can accommodate a large group easily. The living room furniture is worn and one of the couches needs to be replaced. It would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms, as there is only one in the living room and one in the pool table room.The kitchen is very well equipped. It had everything you could possibly need, we truly appreciated all the little extras stocked in the kitchen!Overall - the property is as advertised, it appears to be a bit more dated than the pics, but still a great getaway location.

The house was a good fit for our larger group. We liked the lake view and the closeness to the track as well as being secluded at the end of the street.

What a wonderful home base for our trip to celebrate a wedding! The home had plenty of space for our family of eight and was a hit for the little kids, the teens, and the adults due to the many games and water craft available. This home was the most well stocked Vrbo in which I’ve stayed, with all the household essentials and kitchen amenities a family could need. It was impeccably clean and well arranged. We could hear the track at road America at times (of course) but even the revving engines couldn’t spoil the tranquility of the home and surroundings. The kids are asking when we can return and we are still on the road home!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. It has everything you need for a fabulous family week.

I cannot express how amazing this property is. The owners have thought of everything to make this place so homey and comfortable. I wish we were staying longer. From the comfy blankets next to the couch, to the stashes of beach towels, the bathroom accessories and fully stocked kitchen. The lakeside has all the water toys you could want. The raft in the lake was not accessible as the ladder rungs were installed upside down so unable to step on them, but they can easily fix. The outdoor chess set was a huge hit and the outdoor lights at night added a touch of magic. Loved lounging in the hammocks and using the outdoor grill and patio! Only suggestion to improve is to sharpen or replace the knives in the kitchen. If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would. Brilliant escape!

Great location on the water, with tons to do on the water. Hosts were super friendly and flexible.

This was the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway! It had everything you could need. House was well stocked. We will be back!

Sue was communicative and kind, we really appreciated that the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and the two basement bedrooms can sleep 4 people each (with bunkbeds and trundle). The property has everything that you would need for lake fun--paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, hammocks, etc. Our only thing was that it's very cold in the basement when you run the AC, and, being close to the lake, there were spots of goose poop and lots of cobwebs that we had to clean. Our group was pretty mobile, but if anyone has mobility issues, the walkway down to the lake is not level and you could not navigate with a walker or a stroller very easily. Overall, location is picturesque!!! You cannot convince me that there is a better lake, but be aware that the noise from the racetrack IS loud (the weekend we were there was a BMW event). Overall, lovely rental.

We were in town with family from several parts of the country to watch the motorcycles at Road America. This home was a perfect option. Very close to the track. Easy for family dinners and dinners together. We got to enjoy fishing, fire pit and water toys when not at the races. And the sunset was gorg!

Amazing place, amazing location, and amazing hosts, couldn’t ask for much more!.

Came for our annual boys retreat. My son and my nephews for a weekend of fishing, kayaking, games and campfires. We were not disappointed. More games than you could play in a week, including a custom escape room tailored to the house’s history. Fishing was fair, and the lake was awesome for kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding with beautiful views of course! It was too cold to swim, but the lake is healthy, so I have little doubt it’s great when it warms up. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about any pan or utensil you could possibly need, including a filtered water, coffee machine and kerig. Everyone enjoy the stay and we’d rent again!
