Walk to Pleasure Pier! 'Rose's Beach House'

Great central location we really enjoyed the house. Great place to unwind after a day of running around the town.

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip to Galveston and absolutely loved the house! It felt safe but the street did fill up with cars from other houses having parties. We enjoyed the closeness to everything and had a great time! House was lovely and very cute.

House was clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again if in the area

This cute beach house has a bunch of charm. A touch of modern mixed with some cute antiques. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our teenager. Safe neighborhood and walking distance to the Seawall beach, Pleasure Pier and community park.

Property was very comfortable. Loved the porch chairs and the upstairs was a prefect place for our teenagers to hang out. It was clean but needs a little deep cleaning attention. Kitchen was nice but needed a few more things..a large kettle to boil spaghetti, a few more bowls for leftovers, a working can opener & a few more utensils. French press coffee pot was so very appreciated! I would definitely stay again and recommend.

This house is perfectly situated near the beach, clean as can be, and the perfect spot for a family visit. Communication was excellent!

Host was a great communicator but there were some issues that ultimately make us never stay there again. We most definitely can overlook the fire alarm issues but the bugs in one of the beds was off putting causing one of our guest to sleep on the couch. Though the property manager was prompt with concerns made excuses that it was due to the heat instead of trying to make things right with a potential return customer.

Rose's Beach House could not have been more perfect for our stay. We wanted to get to see Galveston and its history while enjoying loval flavor. This house was in a perfect spot to walk Seawall Blvd to many restaurants and Pleasure Pier. It was also right off the main parkway and streetcar route to The Strand. Every need has been contemplated from ground coffee ready to brew and extra toiletries for those that didn't make it into your luggage. Family board game selection is top notch! This cottage has lots of original character and features. The owner shared with us a bit of backstory on some of the items being preserved and shared [because they are just perfect. If you are interested in Galveston's Story, this is the place to stay. We brought our kids ages 10 and 12. There was just enough space for the 4 of us. We plan to come back.
