Walk to NFL Games: Glendale Home Near Golf

Property is incredibly close to the State Farm stadium! House is in a quiet neighborhood but the pool and pool furniture needed some work. Overall happy with the stay!

The bedrooms and beds need to be updated and the light sockets are loose., but overall the house was cool and was close to everything.

This is the first time I have ever left a bad review on Vrbo and the first time we had to leave a property and check into a hotel. This house was not as advertised. One could look past the crusty bath towels, the flat as pancake pillows with instructions to put pillowcases over the shams for sleeping, and the lack of umbrellas in the pool area in 100 AZ heat , despite the photos showing 4 umbrellas. But we had to leave this property because of the smell. The air filter in the kitchen had dust caked on it. While we were told a cleaning crew had been to the property and surface areas appeared clean, the dirty stench was apparent. One of our party could not stop coughing within minutes of being in the house. Read all the reviews and you will see a pattern of similar feedback countered by the mgmt team as one off issues. To top it off, the Evolve management team listened to our concerns but never got back to us with a resolution to our concerns. For us, this property is Not up to VRBO standards.

Just came down to visit some friends and go to a few games

Everything was great. The only note I would make is to change the bed listings. I was seeing other listings that stated “futon” or “sleeper sofa”. This one had only stated 2 king beds but one was essentially a very large futon. Those aren’t always the easiest to see from the photos. Other than that, it was great. Clean, quiet and mostly comfortable.

The house was great and the location was awesome. Communication with the host was quick and I loved that.

The host was easy to reach. The home was clean. However, it did lack a few things. Towels were very old/used. The bathrooms really could use updating. The kitchen lacked any sort of wrap for food or ziploc type bags. The front door was quite the challenge to work with. It actually felt as if it would fall off trying to lock and unlock it. It should most definitely be replaced. Probably would not return to this property.

Perfect location for access to the stadium and lots of entertainment & food options. House was clean and the pool was cool and refreshing. Host was great to work with, too!

The house was super clean. The neighborhood was very quiet. I definitely enjoyed my stay. The host was really nice and polite. Responded to all my questions and made some accommodations for me. Much appreciated and will be back.

Our stay was awesome! Love the proximity to multiple venues and of course the pool. It was a beautiful home! We were unable to get hot water in the showers for some reason though.

We had a great time. The house clean and very inviting. The only issue was the TV was not able to connect to the Wi-Fi.

We traveled to Phoenix for some medical appointments. The house had a great location for traveling to and from our commitments. It was a great place to unwind, after seeing the doctors.

We had an ok stay. Check in was easy. The house was clearly once owned by an elderly couple and nothing has been updated. Most furniture, fixtures, & things like towels were dated & worn. We actually had to go to Walmart and purchase 6 new pillows to leave behind. The pillows and linens were very old, most towels were falling apart and stained. The strange decor was very dusty. I loved the location as it was close to the arena where our event was but it was almost embarrassing as my family entered the house. The pool (while understandably out of season) was quite dirty and the patio furniture was worn and tattered. We had to stack up cushions to even sit. We were warned about the “cheap handles on showers” and it was very touchy and we were fearful they would break. Seems it would be a good idea to just replace those fixtures all together. Sinks and drains were all quite slow. Furniture- there is one tv and a room with two very pilled/worn and discolored pieces of furniture. The other room was much nicer sofa and chairs. Chairs in dining area were broken as the tops are not connected to the chairs, could be dangerous if you didn’t realize. The main bedroom bed was nice. The other two seemed more of a temporary or old mattress, with one bed being a daybed with 2 twins. We did also purchase and leave behind 4 nice wine glasses as there were only two mismatched old plastic glasses. I felt need to leave honest review as others did not share these details.
