Walk to Beach! Group-Friendly Galveston Hideaway

Nice place in all just very loud dog next door so i really couldnt sit out in the front yard to much other then that i was ila very very nice house everything was very convenient 1 out of 100 i give this place a 100

This home is a gem. Wonderful location for multi-generational family with one downstairs bedroom. Immaculate. Everything totally as represented in the post. Centrally located, nothing is far away. Some of our party walked to the Sea Wall.Extremely comfortable beds, everything you need to cook meals in, which we did for the most part. Large dining table for eating & games.Room even in Galveston's winter for the kids to get their wiggles out. Quiet considering a city location and we live in the country.Bryan Museum right close by and worth the trip and admission.I would say one of the best borrow houses (what the kids call them) we have stayed at..

Everything about this place was great!

Beautiful place. It was comfortable and set up so our 9 person group could all socialize easily. Kitchen was big enough to prepare meals for 9 adults without running into others.

Loved the home. It was perfect. Great host and the house was beautiful. Waking distance to the Seawall and a short drive to the strand.

Absolutely love this place, we hated to leave. The pictures they have posted are good, but the home is so much more. The house is just stunning and the hosts are excellent communicators. There is plenty of space for multiple families. Location is convenient, just a short walk to the sea wall or a quick drive to the strand. Great home and when available we will book this place again.

A house filled with character. Our family enjoyed it and my wife and daughter simply loved the back porch. It was close to beach, restaurants and other places. We highly recommend for family groups.

This is a beautiful house filled with character. There's plenty of room for family and close to Galveston activities. The sceened-in porch was my wife's and daughters happy place. Highly recommended the house for families.

This home is wonderful. It’s even better than the photos. We love the architecture, the decor and pretty much everything about it. Everything in the house was easy to use and worked and it had everything we needed. The location is awesome... a about a 3-5 drive minute from the beach and Pleasure Pier. We hope to stay in this same house when we go back to Galveston.

We had a fantastic time in this beautifully decorated home! It was so aesthetically pleasing. It was so roomy. It was so clean! I have a really hard time sleeping in other people's beds but these were so clean that I felt right at home and every bed was so comfortable!!! beds

We had a fabulous time visiting Moody Garden and Pleasure Pier and the host was kind enough to share suggestions for dining and shopping that was spot on - local businesses with lots of history and charming decor. The house was fabulous! A great blend of old architecture with beautiful updates and beach vibe decorations. All beds were very comfortable and the A/C kept the entire house cool and comfortable. We chose to eat out but the kitchen would be perfect to prepare and serve large meals for a big party.

What a wonderfully restored, thoughtfully stocked home. Every single person in our family absolutely loved this house. The AC was cold on both floors, the kitchen was outfitted beautifully, and the owners even provided hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Every part of this house was comfortable and beautiful.
