Walk Directly onto the Sand in our Gulf Front Townhome!

Property has some maintenance issues- several light bulbs needed replacing (did not work) tv in master bedroom doesn’t work. Other than that, unit was ok.

We’ve stayed in other units through this rental company before and have always had positive experiences, which made this stay especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this townhome appeared to have a significant lack of upkeep and maintenance throughout the property.Some of the issues we encountered included nail pops on the deck, overgrown grass along the beach access path, concerns with the upper balcony railing, and a balcony deck light that was missing its cover and constantly flickered. The patio furniture and beds were uncomfortable, the living room furniture was stained, and the carpet throughout the unit was heavily worn and stained. There was also a strong moldy smell throughout the townhome, along with visible evidence of water damage in multiple areas and black mold present on several air register vents.Additionally, the TV remote was corroded with battery acid and did not function properly. To make matters worse, we found three large roaches during our stay — two in the kitchen and one in the upstairs bathroom.We understand that properties near the beach experience wear and tear, but the condition of this unit did not meet the standard we’ve come to expect from this company. We hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

The beach view was magnificent! The carpet and furniture cushions were heavily stained. We had to cover the couch and chairs with sheets and towels. The master bed had bedsprings that poked when you moved. The beds were clean; however, the rooms were mediocre. Sand and hair was on the floor; so, we did a thorough sweeping. The microwave and several outlets in the kitchen didn't work. The outdoor furniture was filthy.We have rented beachfront homes before and have never stayed in one in such disrepair.This trip was for my mother's 80th birthday and a celebration of cancer remission. The condition of the house put a damper on things; however, we made the most of an undesirable situation and spent the majority of our time outside.

Beach view & access definitely the highlight! Easy access with lots of communication. Clean with everything you need.

We love this home and actually stayed here last year too. It is ,by comparison, a great value for beachfront access. Decorated beautifully, and located in a prime spot to walk to grocery, nightclub, ice cream, restaurants, and breathtaking private beach. The only complaint I had was the outdoor light fixture did not work. It was reported to representative, but not repaired. Would have been lovely to sit outside late. I plan to reserve this same unit next year. It has my heart. Wonderful memories were made 2 years in a row there. Thank you for hosting.

Beautiful location right on the beach & host was very quick to respond to our minor requests!! The place was very clean, but could definitely use some TLC & updating!!

This was an awesome location. So nice to step in the front door and see the beach through the back sliding doors. It was great to just step into the sand! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the amazing sunsets and the beautiful weather. We will be back!

Our stay was awesome. We have no complaints whatsoever.

We love how close to the water it is. Could use a few updates. But all in all it was great!!

The view to the Gulf was amazing. Walking off the deck to the beach. We have seen Turtles hatch, dolphins swimming, stingrays close to shore and the manatees swim right next to swimmer without leaving in the car. We're also close to everything we need being within walking distance. Grocery, drugstore etc. Being able to do our laundry to take all clean clothes home. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals nice place settings. Would love to see a slow cooker added. Love having dinner ready when come of the beach. But we bring our own. All these things and more is what keeps my husband and I coming back to this location.

Needs a new paint job, cleaned carpets, updated bathtubs and showers, etc. If you are travelling by air and don't want to haul your baking supplies (pans, cookie sheets, spray oil, foil, ziploc bags, tongs, large serve ware, serving bowls, etc.), you better plan on eating out!! When they say bare necessities, they mean it!

We had a great time. The location, proximity to the beach, and number of bathrooms were the best part of our stay. A family of 5 plus a Grandma, the space was great! The view was out of this world! The pictures online do not do it justice. When you fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the most picturesque view. It was wonderful. The pictures online were a little deceiving because the furniture is no longer bright and new looking. It's dingy and stained, but it's a rental beach house so I wasn't upset about this. That's pretty much par for the course. Even though therewas a wash house on deck the sand is everywhere and impossible to get off. The musky/mildew smell was overwhelming at first, we grew use to it. The last place we stayed at in Destin was the same, so I'm assuming that's typical now for beach properties. Too much moisture in the air. Only other thing I would have appreciated was more dish towels and dish soap and trash bags. Giving us 1 trash bag for an entire week with 6 people was not great. Having to come on vacation and buying a week's worth of groceries for six people was enough money spent but add in basic necessities like paper towels, soap, dish detergent, and trash bags was disappointing. This was the first vrbo i stayed in that didn't have sufficient supply available for guests. I get the laundry soap, it's our choice, but dishes and trash, it's a full kitchen so you should assuming guest will be eating in it and using dishes.

The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed for a week on the beach. Great location and the ice maker a bonus. Would definnatley choose this condo again for future vactions.

So pleased. We will definitely love yo come again. Pls home was so lean, bright and lovely. The home smelt so clean. Could not ask for more.

This property was beautiful and was in a quieter part of Panama with still being close to Pier park. I would definitely recommend this property

Cant complain about anything. Brought our grandkids for a week spring break. We all had a wonderful time. Hose was perfect!! Views were amazing

This unit is the perfect beach vacay spot! Clean space and bright, pretty decor. THE VIEW of the Gulf couldn't be better, from both levels. Well stocked kitchen to prepare anything. Nice appliances. Grocery right across the street, so handy! If I had a suggestion, it would be to have some type of outside lock on the beachfront doors. It is a bit unnerving to spend time on the beach with the home unlocked.Bottom line, I would love to vacation in this very unit again! My college age kids and I had a wonderful stay!!

We had issues with the bathroom faucet and the coffeemaker and were able to get those fixed right away. Great customer service! However, there are some updates and general maintenance needed. The ceiling in the shower off the king bedroom looks like there might be some water damage. The absolute BEST feature of this rental is being on the beach and we intended to take full advantage of that, however the furniture on the deck was rusty and could use a little sprucing up as well. Not providing coffee filters, an additional garbage bag and no access to recycling were very inconvenient.

Place was as expected, No door locks on the back of the condo.. so you literally had to hope no one seen you walk out of your unit down to the beach and rob you of everything. The lady we spoke with said she was unaware of there being no locks on the outside but really did not have a solution except lock everything up and go down the public beach access .. so why do we have it listed as Walk directly on the beach?. They just forgot to tell you that you cannot lock the doors and anyone can just walk in from the neighboring units..Wife and kids cut their feet on all the nails sticking out of the decks on the lower section.. this problem is not something that just happened. Keep your food closed as the cockroaches will help themselves to any food left uncovered ( we killed 4 ) and there were more that got away. The pictures online are when they first built the place.. It does not look like that now . We knew that it was older however they could post updated pictures. Will not stay there again!
