This farm house has a large spacious kitchen, a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and three bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd floor as well as a `book nook`. There is a large back deck that overlooks a sunny 3-acre field. This house is spacious and a great house for groups or families to vacation. We have recently renovated the house with all new furnishings & fixtures.

Stayed Aug 27, 2025Our family had a wonderful stay at the wagon wheel cottage! It was comfortable and cozy, and had all the amenities needed for a family getaway! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms looked newly renovated, and we had room to hang out. It was close to the Acadia entrance, the Crooked Coffee shop (delicious), and only 10 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. Thank you!!

Stayed Aug 29, 2024Overall, the house was clean, well stocked and accurately described in the listing. The property worked great for our family group of seven, which included three adult couples and a teenager. The location was perfect as it was a short drive into Bar Harbor, and Acadia. Everyone reported that the beds were comfortable. We cooked several breakfasts and one dinner in and found the kitchen to be more than adequate for our needs. We made use of the fire pit one night and thoroughly enjoyed that. Overall, a great property and I would not hesitate to rent it again.
