Property manager great at communication. House well stocked, cute in person. Great for kids and our family. Only feedback would be house could use a little updating but I think that’s par for the course for a cabin in Tahoe.
My partner and I stayed at the Vista Pines Chalet over new years and had an incredible time. The home has everything you need to cook and relax. The cookware is top notch, not the inexpensive cookware you typically see in rentals. There is plenty to do inside the house between the cozy living room watching the wood burning fire, jacuzzi, and pool table, but also a short drive to some great restaurants in the area as well as the slopes. This is my second time staying at this property. I would highly recommend booking the Vista Pines Chalet and can't wait to visit again in the future!
Really nice property and location
Had a beautiful stay! Location is great. Photos were very accurate. Agency was easy to get a hold of and decent response. We had a wonderful white Christmas. There are several things that should have been fixed/replaced prior to our arrival. $1000 a day I would expect to get proper lighting. The hallway by front door to garage was completely dark and dangerous. More bulbs than I can count are burnt out. Blinds did not open in kitchen eating area on left side looking out. There is a rock loose on hearth which is dangerous and we tried a fam pic for the holiday but could not as unsafe.
Overall my review of this property is great. It's got a lot of bed space and could comfortably sleep 8 people but if you had small kids who could share full beds, you could fit a few more. I have only tiny little nitpicks for the place -- more screens on the windows so we could get more ventilation. The upstairs gets hot hot hot when it gets over 75. Overhead fans in those rooms would be a lifesaver. Not an issue in winter. I'm definitely giving the rental 5 stars and we would come back to it for sure. To make it 6 stars it would be amazing if you had some things you could use in summer like beach chairs, umbrella, floaties, etc. But that would just be icing on the cake. And also putting in a request to add some grill cleaning implements since you say you charge for a dirty grill, but I had nothing substantial to clean it with. Overall great place! (Also, just note, the property managers are strict about check in and time and check out time.)
Loved this home! Great location and beautiful property. Our family had a wonderful time here.
Wonderful location and excellent accommodations. The place was perfect for long relaxing weekend.
The property fit our family of 6 adults very well. The home is very comfortable with 3 separate bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. The combined dining area and living room work with adjacent kitchen worked perfectly for our family. We could be together while we prepared our meals, played games, relaxed on the couch and watched some football. The location is excellent with easy access to Sand Harbor, S. Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City. We walked to several local beaches on the lake and its a very short drive to trails, market and shopping.
Great place to stay for a wedding! Lots of toys for entertainment. Great deck! Lots of room to relax.
The house was very nice. We loved the mountain chic style of decor and the layout was great. Rating 4 stars because I couldn't find cutting boards, the kids room sheets were synthetic and shocked my daughter due to carpet, and the towels weren't very soft and smelled a little odd. Otherwise house was clean and there were plenty of cups and plates etc. No oils or spices though FYI- glad we brought ours. Also the two times I emailed asking for something, I didn't get great service.
