The property was immaculately clean inside and out. Multiple entrances and a lovely grassy garden makes it a wonderfully easy location when traveling with pets. The host is gracious and great with communication. Would recommend to families traveling who want the ease of a nice, welcoming home.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this place! The listing pictures don't do it justice. It was perfect for our family of 6 and had all the amenities that made our trip comfortable and convenient. Les was very considerate and had fridge and pantry staples to help us settle in. Even called me when I couldn't figure out the bbq grill. Driving to Tahoe from this place was not a hassle. Will 100% stay here again!FYI I think is worth mentioning - is that the showers are small, like an airplane lavatory...so if larger people or those that need to help kids shower, etc. might take that into consideration.

The house was very spacious, quaint, and clean. We had plenty of room for the 4 of us and our dogs.The neighborhood is quiet and secluded, which aided in some much-needed relaxation.Excellent property, wonderful owner, highly recommend!

This was a beautiful home. I loved it. My dogs loved it. It was just so relaxing and that exactly what I need. I definitely will be going back at the end of the year.

This home is nostalgic, my sister and I could relate to the whole home environment. A woodpecker out on the back porch knocking at the bird house in the morning, a hawk landing just above the fence on a wooden cow head. For this family, comfortable, cozy, homey, just like our grandparents home. Top it off, eggs, milk, bread and bananas were available when we arrived. I admit, we made up some French Toast that night, thank you to our host, we really appreciated and needed it.

Always love our stay here. Great place. Plenty of room to relax. Love the patio set up and BBQ! Great neighborhood with no worries. Bikw trail nearby!

This place was perfect for us. We loved the quiet and private location. Les was easy to reach when I wanted to add a guest for one night, and he was very easy to work with. We would gladly stay here again.

Vista Gardens is a charming space full of reminders of past times. Reminded me of my childhood in many ways. It was perfectly central to all of our events while we were in town. The showers are a little snug, that is the only thing that wasn’t perfect for ME personally. Everything was readily available and Les was a perfect host! Thank you!

This unique home is tucked away in a nice quiet area which allowed for some peaceful evenings. It is close enough to all the main attractions in Reno and Sparks so you can enjoy the city too! We loved our stay at Vista Gardens and would highly recommend it for other travelers looking for a quiet place to relax at!

The house was great, the owner was easy to work with, he added a few nice touches to enhance our experience and give the place a homey feel, and the location was very good; it had a country feel, but stores and restaurants are very close. Overall great experience.

A very cool little place. It had all the amenities we needed and was close enough to downtown and nearby shopping to be convenient but out of the way enough to be peaceful. It was very clean and well-appointed. There's a chance we could be back in Reno again next fall and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Les for the great hospitality!

This property is the first one we search for when planning a trip to Reno. Nice, comfortable home and a quiet location tucked in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Reno.

Away from the hustle and bustle, the “dated” decor is charming for the nostalgic. Whether you’re into the retro vibe or not, it was CLEAN and comfortable. I’d go back—if it weren’t for the fencing, which is too short for my large dogs.

The home was amazing. Everything was provided and the host provided a Kuerig upon request. When we arrived the host was there and he showed us where everything was located. The area was peaceful and quiet. We couldn't get the ice maker in the refrigerator to work so the host came over brought us a bag of ice. I highly recommend Vista Gardens.

Staying at Vista gardens was such a relief. We were in Reno for a volleyball tournament. It was so nice to be able to go to a quite place to relax. So comfortable abd homie. Thank you Les

This was our first time staying at Les's place, and we'll definitely be back next time we go to Reno. It was clean, spacious, and peaceful. Quiet area too.

Quite, comfortable. Great tv's, games, puzzles.

Needed a place with comfy recliner & single level for my son’s recovery after knee surgery. Kitschy vibe, some will say dated, but very clean and tidy, good price, newer appliances, nice quiet area & felt very safe. Didn’t need to worry about car on the street or anything. Very small downside issue is the tv volume doesn’t work well & can’t stream your own services. So if you’re not hanging inside all day it’s not even an issue.

We had a lovely stay while we were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. The place was very spacious with many rooms to choose from. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog and their dog-friendliness was the reason we chose this location.

Of all the VRBO's we've stayed at this was one of the best. Quiet and out of the way, yet was only 15 minutes from downtown Reno. Everything we needed was provided Well done.

We had a wonderful stay at Vista Gardens. The only complaint, which they told us about, was the really small showers. A hand held shower in one helps, but the other doesn’t have the same. No doubt we will stay there again when in Reno.

The property is located in a great, easy to access area. This is our “go to” location when we are in the area for fishing trips. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the back yard is a great place to hang out, and there are even some bikes you can use for a fun ride on the nearby path.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and are never dissatisfied. We’ve stayed in the winter with snow on the ground. We’ve stayed in the summer with temps in the 90’s. ‘Never any problems. With Vista Gardens we know what we are getting which removes one less worry when planning our getaways.
