Vista Chalet-Yosemite and Bass Lake getaway with Tesla charger

The Vista Chalet is an exceptional place to stay for quiet cabin days and easy access to the southern entrance to Yosemite. The host ensured we had everything we needed for our stay and included a personal welcome, treats, and lovely decorations for fall. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The hot tub was especially nice after long hikes, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and making coffee. We were able to roast marshmallows and do some bird watching from the deck. Though the house is on a mountain road, it is an quick drive to town for supplies. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place when visiting Yosemite if you do not mind a little driving. The house is in the quite neighborhood with very nice outdoor area. We visited in June and it was already hot but cool enough in the morning to have coffee outside and sit out in the evening. The house has everything you could possibly need from pots and pans, spices, oils, coffee machine and much more. The beds are comfortable. ACs very efficient. Super clean. Cannot say enough how much we loved staying here. The host if very responsive. Highly recommend. Will stay again if we are in the area. Check out El Sid Mexican 3 miles away, very good.

Absolutely the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The house is stocked with EVERYTHING you need, nicely labeled in the cabinets. We loved sitting on the back patio and watching the deer pass through the yard. My kids loved the hot tub after coming home from exploring Yosemite! Very clean, comfortable home, and we would love to stay here again.

We have rented many houses on VRBO and this house by far was the best. This house has absolutely everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and felt like a home away from home. It's spacious, comfortable. The hot tub and the fire pit was a bonus after long hiking days at Yosemite.Thank you!!!

Beautiful, clean and spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor spaces were very nice and we enjoyed seeing some deer in the backyard. The kitchen was very well stocked. The host thought of everything to create an enjoyable stay.

What a spectacular house!! Beautiful views, comfy beds and living room, and a well stocked kitchen. We cooked so many delicious meals and relaxed on the porch. Communication was totally seamless!

This was an excellent and cute spot that met or exceeded all of our expectations. The kitchen was nice to prepare food in, the hot tub was clean and ready to go when we arrived. We are looking forward to booking again! It was a good value for our group of four and would be a bargain for a group of six.

This house was absolutely beautiful and the most well stocked place I’ve ever stayed. Communication with the owner was outstanding and received immediate replies to a few questions. Perfect location for visiting Yosemite if you don’t want to stay inside the park. Very comfy and spacious bedrooms.

Hostess with the mostest. The location was very pleasant. We were out in Yosemite all of the days, so we were able to enjoy it during the evening times. The spa was a little dirty the first day of the arrival (not complaining) but Mariam got on it right away and it was nice and clean by the second day of our stay. Mariam was so accommodating and friendly and really pays attention to details, you can tell this house is well loved. This house has so many amenities, I felt like I was staying at a family’s home. Definitely will book here again, already referred a few friends to this location. Great for small families. 10/10, local to everything and 25 minutes into Yosemite, with 1.5 hours to Verna Falls.

Cute house! Only thing is the spa was dirty and one side the jets don’t work.

We had a great experience and everything was in order. The only that scared us were local dogs that came up to the property. Other than that everything was great

Beautiful cabin with a pretty atmosphere

Loved staying at Vista chalet, close enough to Oakhurst that it was easy to get into town to restaurants, but far enough out that we were able to watch a beautiful night of stars from the hot tub! The home was extremely clean, beds were very comfortable, cabinets were labeled so that we could find everything and there was even a welcome bottle of wine. We enjoyed the fire pit table, the hot tub, watched a movie. Wish we could’ve stayed for a couple more nights. It was so comfortable. We will definitely book there again on our next trip out west.

My husband and I had such a fantastic stay! Compared to most homes we’ve rented, this one felt very well cared for and had so many little touches that made us feel welcome. Even seasonal decor! We loved that the house is close to shops, but on the edge of a neighborhood so it felt more private. We only used the primary bedroom, but the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was actually well stocked for a rental home! We were able to cook plenty of meals with the spices and cookware available, including baking cookies. The hot tub was a dream, and we loved having a meal on the deck after using the propane grill, watching the sunset. Tons of firewood available for the indoor fireplace too! We would 100% stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We loved this house! So kid friendly and great deck for morning coffee and sunset watching. One of the best stocked houses we’ve stayed at, and so welcoming! We’ll be back!

This place was a great place to come back to and relax after long days of hiking in Yosemite.

Really nice place with a truly fully stocked kitchen there was even coffee! Best stocked kitchen including spices, coffee sugar for coffee, etc.No soap or shampoo in bathrooms. Adding that would be great. Note that there is a separate air conditioning control for the upstairs in the dining room.Yosemite valley was very crowded. Waited an hour and a half to get in the park in mid-June. Mariposa grove was incredible. Oakhurst is a great town with all necessities.

Great home, very clean and maintained. Perfect mountain house, kid friendly and a great place to stay to visit Yosemite.
