Stayed Oct 21, 2024What a wonderful cottage! We enjoyed it immensely! From the path to the beach, to the Menemsha fish market, and touring the island! What a wonderful time we had! Nathaniel is the perfect host! Thank you Nathaniel for letting us experience your wonderful cottage in Menemsha! Sandra and I will definitely be back!

Stayed Jun 16, 2022Not only was the property a slice of history, it was quiet and secluded enough that we felt like we had the area to ourselves. Perfect for a reunion trip with life-long friends. Nathaniel made us feel like we were truly guests in his home - welcoming us to enjoy the amenities as if we had known him personally. The kitchen was well-appointed, so, based on great recommendations from Nathaniel, we sourced most of our meals from local farm stands and spent time cooking and taking in the sunset from the large deck. We walked the shore to Menemsha Beach, took in the sites of the various other towns, went to the Alpaca Farm, etc. enjoying each for its different experience. There were five of us and we each, except for two twins in one room, had a private space. The garage was available for storing my bikes when it rained. When it turned cold & blustery for one evening, we made use of the fireplace and our comfort was never compromised. I can see why this is often booked so far in advance with repeat customers. We wanted for nothing all week. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 12, 2022Our stay could not have been more perfect. The owners pre stay communication was excellent. During our stay he was available (via text) to answer any questions we might have. An excellent cottage information package was provided provided as soon as we booked our stay and was very helpful in explaining the cottage features and history as well as a helpful list of area hikes and activities. We LOVED the cottage! The owner has taken great care to sympathetically renovate the cottage. The living room was choc-a-block full of character. A noteworthy feature was the fireplace in both the living room and the kitchen. The deck was spacious and the view was spectacular. There are two nearby fish markets. We had fabulous fresh fish each evening. We had an accomplished cook in our group and she found everything needed to prepare memorable meals. We also enjoyed the Webber grill. We would return in a heartbeat!

Stayed May 27, 2022My family and I had a fantastic stay at the house. It was beautiful (with amazing sunsets and a fun winding trail to the beach), clean, and in a quiet location though accessible to many things. The owner was always available to connect to answer any questions we had in advance of our trip and while we stayed at the house. We will recommend this house to our friends and try to come back as well!

Stayed Oct 18, 2021A perfect, relaxing week on the quieter part of Martha's Vineyard. The cottage was exactly as described. Quaint, clean, stocked with everything you could need. We spent most of our time on the deck, as the weather was beautiful and the view/outdoor space was breathtaking.

Stayed Oct 8, 2021Quaint classic vineyard property with a spectacular view from a wonderful deck. Can't say enough about the sunsets while eating dinner outside. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of space for a family to use as a home base while exploring the island. Have been coming to the Vineyard for years and definitely will come back to this place.

Stayed Oct 11, 2021A charming house filled with lots of character and history. Breathtaking views, only add to this quiet and peaceful location. Breakfast on the deck each morning and cozy fires in the stone fireplace each night, make the experience complete. Owners were very responsive with questions, and helpful with entire process. Thank you Nathaniel. We will always have beautiful memories of this special place.
