Secluded house in the woods with deck, streamside firepit, Vincent Beach nearby

We appreciated (among many other things) that the hosts are the owners, are nearby, and were very responsive.

Nan and Warren are great hosts. Love the welcome note and flowers, a very nice touch. The house guidebook was very helpful. We hope to be back soon.

Check in was flawless. The house was ready, hosts had already communicated with us directions. The house was spotless, spacious and filled with amenities, including a piano, state of the art sound system (we preferred the quiet TBH). The kitchen was complete with high quality cookware, tools, microwave, toaster. oven, cousin art etc etc. We greatly appreciated the hospitality of Nan who answered any/every question promptly. Outdoor shower a plus (spotlessly clean) and note that the house stays cool day and night, with cross breezes, we used AC only one night.

Wonderfully peaceful spot on the Vineyard! Even more spacious than the pictures. The Dotys were the kindest hosts. Would highly recommmend!

This is perfect Martha’s Vineyard hideaway. Great location, comfortable, clean, well appointed, simple, beautiful home on secluded, mature land. Easy to reach Menemsha, Chilmark, West Tisbury, and Lucy Vincent Beach.

Nan and Warren were excellent hosts, easy to contact and gracious in sharing their loving home. A perfect location if you love the quiet side of the island, my wife and I are looking forward to a return trip in 2026!

The house was just as described - secluded, clean and perfectly situated both on MV and within Chilmark. We had the best week relaxing on the hammock, enjoying the deck and taking advantage of the nearby beaches and stunning hikes. A couple small things I really appreciated were the beach chairs, filtered water so not using water bottles and the Air Doctor to eliminate any stuffy air. Every room had a fan in the closet with I especially loved since o have a hard time sleeping without circulating air and white noise. We also loved the kids toys and plethora of books for both us and the kids. We had a chance to meet the owner as we were leaving and she was just as lovely as I imagined. Thank you for a wonderful stay and making us feel so welcome.

One of the most beautiful spots you will find on Martha's Vineyard. Quiet, secluded, abundant nature, while convenient to Menemsha, Chilmark Store and Lucy Vincent. Nan and Warren are the best hosts. House is immaculate and offers every convenience. Will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Chilmark home. Nan was easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. The house was clean, well equipped and perfect for our family. We can’t wait to go back!
