Villas Cerca del Mar 8✦Luxury Villa, near the Beach with a Private Pool✦

Very nice, had everything we needed and more from laundry detergent to WiFi. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, quiet area but a short walk to the main spots of Tamarindo.

We loved our stay! The location of the property is great; just a short walk across the street to the public beach access. The interior was true to the photos, in good condition, and there was plenty of room for our group of 7. There were two bedrooms with queen beds (seemed like a large queen), and the third with a full/queen and two bunk beds. There was a single bed with trundle underneath in the living room too. The pool was wonderful and large enough for our whole group to use at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and had an outdoor grill. The neighborhood was safe, quiet, and quaint; loved the Playa Langosta area nestled off the hustle and bustle of main Tamarindo streets. If you're interested in accessing the main Tamarindo strip during your stay, would highly recommend renting a golf cart as it is definitely not walking distance. However, if you just want access to a beach and a few restaurants and a small mini supermarket, there are those things within walking distance of the unit. If I had friends going to Tamarindo, I would definitely recommend this property to them.We did have an issue with not having hot water in the showers. To Management's credit they did send someone over promptly to troubleshoot it when we called. The maintenance man said it was fixed but it wasn't. We didn't call back, just lived with it and took coldish showers; it was hot out after all, but it would be nice for this to be fixed.

Everything was great about this house. Just like advertised!! Great location with beach and sunset right across the street. Tom’s of restaurants within walking distance or golf cart ride. Pool was a perfect addition and AC units were working perfectly. Great communication with the management team as well. Would come back in a minute.

The weather was amazing, location amazing and pool was a welcome treat for the 38 degree temps. There were a few issues with ac and hot water but fixed immediately. Service was great :). Thanks again for the accommodations

This house was great! Clean, neat and definitely gives the experience of staying in Costa Rica with the patios and landscaping and beautiful pool area.

The neighborhood was wonderful - close to action but still quiet and felt very safe. German and Lola were amazing! Quick to respond and help us create a memorable trip filled with fun activities! The house was great! The pool was essential for a hot Cost Rican stay! We will be back! Pura Vida!

Overall, we loved this house. The listing photos are very accurate- except for one bedroom which has added a bunk bed since listing photos. It's kind of a townhouse complex, several properties right in a row, connected but separate. Directly across the street from beachfront properties, which means the beach really is a 5 min walk. Delightful. Restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. We rented a golf cart vs car, but would have preferred a car. The management service is very responsive and helpful. Highlight of our trip was the Volcano tour with the guide named Duck. Far away, but worth it for a big day of Costa Rican adventure. Only drawback to the property was that we had a noise issue. We were there on family spring break trip. The people next to us were there on a college spring break trip... I'm sure you can see where this is going. The bedrooms have AC etc., but some of the other house windows are just screened, so noise can be a big issue if you get rowdy neighbors. Overall, great property with a great host, but noise was an issue.

My friends and I were in Costa Rica for a wedding and this villa was perfect. The team was extremely communicative through WhatsApp and very helpful. There was a problem with the water tank that caused us some stress (we did not have water for about 24 hours), but the team was responsive and fixed the problem before it was too big of an issue. The 3rd bedroom also has bunk beds in it, which were not reflected in the photos but were shown in the video tour. With bunk beds, that becomes a pretty perfect room for children but not the best room for adults. Just something to keep in mind if you’re staying with friends and want to share the cost. The other two rooms are significantly nicer for 2 adults than the bunk room for 4 adults. Overall, we had an excellent time and the house worked well for our group.

The house at Cerca del Mar in Tamarindo made a great base for our stay. The location allowed us easy access to a variety of beautiful beaches constantly changing with the tide. Our hosts were responsive to our needs and corrected some issues we had quickly and thoughtfully. The pool was the perfect temp and a welcome respite after a day in the sun.

We enjoyed our time here! The location is right next to our favorite beach access and close to town. The outdoor area with the pool was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked and overall everything was well maintained.
