Village House - Hot Tub, Pool, walk to downtown shops

The location was great. The house was clean and had all the amenities for a relaxing stay!

This property was very well maintained and the host's communication was great. I loved that there aren't any immediate neighbors, so it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere even though you're not. The property felt very safe. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joshua Tree and the Village House property. The property had everything you’d need. The hot tub was a perfect end to a day of hiking in the Joshua Tree National Park, which was just minutes away. Rob and Susan are very responsive should you need anything. Would definitely stay here again, if we come to Joshua Tree.

We thoroughly enjoyed having the Village House as our base camp for a recent trip to Joshua Tree. The house was clean and comfy, and Rob quickly answered all my questions. And who doesn't love a jacuzzi after a long day of hiking? We are so glad we found this place and would definitely stay again next time we return to the park.

Perfect spot to stay on our trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Close by the park entrance, the Village House had every possible amenity you could think of, all in perfect condition. Host was gracious and responsive. We won’t hesitate to return or recommend it to friends and family.

Everything was perfect! We had the best time. Rob and Susan were super friendly and gave great instructions. The house has a great vibe and a fantastic kitchen!

Great place that is accessible to everything I wanted to visit. The property is very clean and well equiped. Access in and out of the property was made super simple by the hosts who did a great job communicating before / during / after the trip. Walked into downtown for ribs at the saloon, the national park is just minutes away by car with spectacular views. There are nearby art installations like Transmission, or drive a little further south for even quirkier sights. As you head down to Salton Sea, there's Bombay Beach and Slab City, both unusual and interesting to see. I did take my telescope with me and while the clouds didn't fully cooperate this time, I was able to see about 5x the number of stars compared to the usual suburban sky I have at home.Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some chill time in the desert!

We used this as a home base for two days of hiking and climbing in Joshua Tree. It was clean, well situated and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We didn't use many of the amenities but it looked really well stocked and we'd definitely come back!

We had a lovely one night stay here. The house is in a great location and well-kept. The kitchen has great supplies. The beds were comfortable. Checkout was super easy, would stay again!

We had a few days in Joshua Tree and found this place perfect. Everything you needed was available, with plenty of space. The bed was comfortable. You could walk to restaurants although we drove. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we had no problems during our stay. Would recommend.

Fabulous place!

We had a great stay. So close to Joshua Tree National Park and downtown. Home was clean and exactly as pictured. Wish we would have had more time to relax and enjoy the outdoor space. Communication with host was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Lovely spot within walking distance to town! The pool and hot tub were so nice and always the perfect temperature. Hosts were friendly, check in and checkout process clear and easy! Highly recommend.

We loved staying at Village House. It was just a short drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree and when we we're not in the park, my daughter loved hanging out in the hot tub. A great experience overall!

The house was very clean and well equipped to cook. The hot tub was heated and ready to use. It was a very comfortable spot to spend a few days.

Loved this place. Just wished it had a washer and dryer.

We stayed at the Village House during our trip to Joshua Tree. We had stayed there one year ago and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. It did not disappoint. The home is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The backyard oasis is perfect after a day of hiking in the park which is very nearby. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful home.

My daughter and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Village House. A short 10 minute drive to the West Entrance of Joshua Tree where we enjoyed 2 days of hiking. And just 1 block into town for great Pizza at Sky High Pizza or breakfast at JT Country Kitchen. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking and the beds were comfortable. Excited to return!

I absolutely loved the property and the town! The check in process was smooth and the property lived up to the hype! The only thing I will mention, the bathroom could have been cleaner.

This is the second time staying at the Village House! It exceeded our expectations the first time and they made some significant improvements prior our second stay! The beds are comfy, the kitchen is bright and beautiful! My daughter and I feel safe as it also a fenced in property with a security gate. Checkin in and check out process is a piece of cake! Exactly what we need to escape what we call the “real world” and enjoy a stress free vacay. I could go on and on. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back next year :)

We stayed in this lovely home for two nights . Very close to JT National Park. The saloon around the corner had great food and had entertainment on some nights. The house was very clean and well equipped. Beautiful newer kitchen. The beds and bedding were comfortable as well as the living room space. The neighborhood is pretty barren. The fenced in yard is very private . Hosts were attentive and we were able to check in early. Great stay!

Our trip to JT for the first time was fabulous due in large part to Rob and Susan’s beautiful home. Very clean. Beautifully decorated. And every amenity I could possible need. Rob was very responsive and check in went smoothly. Location is perfect. Close to the JT visitor center and only minutes to west entrance. The main street is just down the road with restaurants and shops. And a dollar general is within walking distance for any last minute necessities. We loved our stay.

In Joshua Tree very close to entrance, house was very clean, when we arrived we needed to turn on air conditioner (100 degrees outside and pretty hot inside) and their was a strong plug in scent that gave me a headache but we unplugged it and went exploring for an hour or two and returned to a cool home. Well stocked with anything you might need, spacious and clean. Nice decorating. Yard was a bit barren but this is a desert. Too hot to swim but we enjoyed sitting in the backyard and stargazing. Note town of Joshua Tree does not have much going on nightlife wise but we found a fun restarant in 29 Palms - grnd sqrl.
