Stayed May 22, 2025This 5 storey 150 year old house is located in the heart of Cotiniac, overlooked by steep cliffs. It is minutes from the cours (main promenade), tucked in beside a little fountain. The trogolyte caves are less than a 10 minute walk away and the cours, 8 minutes away, is where the weekly market is held. A fabulous bakery is just minutes away down the hill towards the cours. A small SPAR grocery is on the cours. The house itself is a one of a kind: each room occupies one floor and it seems to go on forever! A steep, winding, tiled staircase connects the floors. Nice to have 2 bathrooms, each beside 2 of the bedrooms. The commodious kitchen is a great place to have your morning coffee and brioche from the local bakery. Loved our stay and our host was amazingly responsive! Thank you Ani!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a fantastic 11 days in this charming house (with lots of stairs), located at a perfect spot in a wonderful village. There were only 5 of us, so we could really spread out. The house is very roomy, and we found it very clean and welcoming. The owner is extremely helpful, and answered our questions (via SMS) within a couple of hours, if not minutes. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen, which worked very well. Otherwise, the village has several very nice restaurants that we strongly recommend. La Terrace was our favorite, but there were other very good ones too. The village is absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed both walking the streets of the village itself, as well as hiking the cliffs and a walking tour to the nearby very picturesque waterfall. And do not forget the Saturday and Tuesday markets! We also paid a few nice visits to nearby wineries. Carpe Diem, which is a smaller winery very close to the village, is strongly recommended! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone. It is even suitable for a fairly large group.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very much enjoyed our stay in this house. Being very traditional, required a little bit of adjustment- a lot of stairs and might not suit people who find stairs difficult. Once we got used to managing it- ie bottom floor and toilet approached from wide patio doors on to street, using main kitchen area and master bedroom mostly and top room for watching tv, it was extremely comfortable and we were very pleased with everything that was provided. Very well thought out. A really lovely interesting home from home. Thank you Anni
