Villa with Pool near Beaches

Excellent hosts! Very good villa, nice & quiet location near the ocean, Lisbon and other locations of interest. The pool is all one could hope for!

The villa is in a quiet residential area close to beaches and local restaurants. Recommend hiring a car so that you can travel to supermarkets and other areas of interest. Villa owners are kind and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything that you need, while respecting your privacy at the same time. The villa pool is fabulous and well maintained throughout the week. We also thoroughly enjoyed barbecues most evenings. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a rural, family owned villa, then we would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Jose and Rosa for a lovely holiday :)

The pool was the star of the show. We are a family of four and the accommodation suited us perfectly. Loads of stunning beaches and lovely cafes near by and the private pool at the property was superb. Loved our week here. The hosts were very kind and accommodating and very respectful of our privacy. Fantastic place and wonderful people.

We spent a week at Rosa and Jose's property and couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome! The house is beautiful - very clean and well-equipped, with privacy guaranteed. There was the added bonus of a wonderful pool which was used by us almost daily. Rosa and Jose were very kind and easily contactable, yet were discreet at all times. Aldeia do Meco is about 45 minutes from Lisbon with large supermarkets within a 10-15 minute drive in either Sesimbra or Amora. Close to the Atlantic coast (short walk to the dunes from the house) and wonderful Albufeira Lagoon - highly recommended for walks and swimming. We have been so impressed with Portuguese friendliness and hospitality that we have already booked to return next year! Thank you, Rosa & Jose!

We can recommend this house to everybody who looks out for a quiet place and lovely owners, who are ready to help you in any situation. The house and the garden are very beautiful. We hope we can come back once again.

We had a great stay in Meco. The house is exactly like on the pictures. It is not too big but very comfortable, clean and all necessairy equipment was there. The back area with the bbq place gives a great view on the dunes. A beautiful beach can be reached by foot, a beautiful 15 minutes walk through the dunes with a steep climb to get up and down the Cliffs, or just 10 minutes by car. The owners house is at the other side of the pool but they leave the guests in all privacy. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We would strongly recommend the place.
