Villa with patio near the beach in Miramar / Vila Nova de Gaia

Could not recommend Adriana’s home more! We used the house as a base point to explore Porto, Espinho, and Aveiro, as well as the town in which we were staying. We were four individual adults and upon realising this Adriana kindly set up a bedroom each, rather than shared rooms. She met us at the property after our flight and gave us a brief tour, and recommended the Monday Market in Espinho - if you’re staying here on a Monday definitely make it a point of your trip to go here! It was incredible! (Just make sure you have enough space in your suitcase to bring home everything you’re going to want to buy haha). The home itself was absolutely beautiful and definitely felt like a home away from home whilst we stayed there. You could spend half a day just looking at all the beautiful art, decor, and trinkets around the place. The home is big with plenty of bathrooms and rooms to ensure everyone has their own space, and we particularly enjoyed the games room upstairs and the hammock outside. 10/10 recommend and would love to return one day. We had the sweetest welcome and enjoyed every moment in this absolutely beautiful and so spacious house. Adriana made sure that we were perfectly taken care of and we immediately felt at home. We were a little bit unlucky with the weather, but had so much fun staying at the house even though we were 8 people. As soon as the weather got better, we could go to the beach, which is just a 5 min walk away, or visit Porto. We can definitely recommend this property and can’t wait to return! We visited this property 3 years ago with our then 7 month old and were so excited to return with friends this year. The home is still gorgeous and filled with personal and beautifully curated objects and art. The back patio is still perfect for breakfasts and dinners and grilling out while the kids play in the hammock. The hosts thoughtfully installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs to keep our toddlers safe and provided a high chair and crib. The kitchen is so well stocked, we had such an easy and fun time cooking. The bathrooms are updated and numerous for a group. But the best part is getting to watch kids discover little touches of magic throughout the house, running around in old masks and hats that they discovered in the secret nook under the stairs. A dream visit with wonderfully warm hosts that we hope will be a part of our son's summer memories for years to come.

We had a great stay - Adriana was always available, the house was beautiful, the beches were nice and Porto was fantastic.

The property was wonderful, the bedrooms and upstairs were so cute and clean. The host greeted us upon arrival and was helpful throughout our stay. My only suggestion would be to update the furniture in the downstairs living room, as it did seem dated and had a smell that was just a little musty. Besides that, everything was perfect, location was just as described and walking distance to the beach and stores. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for everything! ?

We stayed here as a group of 8 and had an absolutely wonderful time! Adriana is an amazing host and the house left nothing to be desired. The location is amazing as well, just a 5min walk from the beach and Porto is just a really short Train or Uber ride away.

This property and the owner were incredible. We loved the carefully curated art and decor, the homey and comfortable kitchen perfect for cooking, and the garden which was so beautiful and relaxing! Not even mentioning the hours of fun brought by the ping pong table :) We traveled with our 6 month old and were very well provided for with a high chair and crib. The location is amazing, we walked the beach boardwalk every morning and easily took the 15 minute train into Porto multiple times (a really fun city with great food by the way!) We look forward to coming back, hopefully with more family members as the home is quite large with lots of bathrooms and places to congregate and enjoy. Thank you again!

We really had a great time at Adriana's home playing lots of ping-pong and billiards. The house had everything we needed and in the kitchen we could comfortably cook and eat for 7 people. The large patio with the hammock is ideal for relaxing and the beach is nearby.

Very nice stay during our visit in Portugal. Perfect for children and close to public transportation. Nice and friendly host.
