Stayed Mar 3, 2025This Tuscan inspired home was as nice as we expected from the listing information. Roomy, clean, well appointed and pleasant ambiance. In particular, we had chosen this home for a family reunion where we could enjoy a special celebratory dinner on the lighted patio. When we all arrived, with a few cars full of groceries, ready to begin cooking, etc., we were informed that there was a scheduled power outage by the city for the full day. We were unable to refrigerate our groceries, much less begin to cook. A little bewildering that we were not advised of this inconvenience by management until we arrived. By the time the power came on at approximately 5:30 pm, we were unable to cook dinner in time to enjoy the outdoor venue, so we ate our special celebratory dinner in the kitchen. We learned from management that the city was also scheduling a power outage on our last day of renting. So instead of enjoying our last morning of an expensive visit, we all had to rise extra early in order to shower and pack before the power went out at approx 8:30. We will certainly never forget this experience, but the biggest surprise was the lack of concern for us by the owner reps. Nor have we been contacted by management or owners for any type of apology or remuneration for our substantially altered experience at their VRBO.

Stayed Dec 18, 2024Such a beautiful home. All modern features but the feel of old Italy. I have stayed in many rental houses and this was the best. There was an actual person who met me at the house so I didn’t need to guess how to work the tech and other amenities. Usually you get the key and spend an hour learning how to turn on the tv. We were very pleased and would love to come back next year!

Stayed Mar 1, 2024The house was beautiful, well-designed and with everything one needs for a great stay. The kitchen was particularly well-stocked and the living room had tons of books, games and puzzles to keep everyone busy on the several cool and rainy days we had during our month-long stay. Timothy and Jennifer were very responsive and helpful. The grounds were large and great for the kids to explore. Everyone used the spa extensively, which was well worth the cost. Definitely a great place for a large group that wants to be close to Palm Springs, Indian Canyons, golf, mid-century neighborhoods, Moorten's cactarium and/or Elmer's (for the best German Pancakes)!

Stayed Feb 24, 2023Villa Toscana was exactly as described. Couldn't ask for a more perfect Palm Springs getaway. The home was perfectly decorated, with thoughtful touches making our stay so easy and relaxing. The outdoor space is incredible, beautiful landscaping, pool, and cute garden. This checked off all the boxes. Quiet area of Palm Springs. Easy access to downtown. Loved the stay. Great communication with our host Jen who was extremely responsive. We will be back again! It was a magical stay - highly highly recommend!!

Stayed Feb 1, 2023This was the first trip my husband and I had taken since March 2020. We finally escaped NYC apartment living to this oasis in the heart of Palm Springs. In years past, we would stay at hotels in Palm Springs - but we were looking for more space and privacy. So (spoiler alert), this very detailed and glowing review reflects and reinforces why we made the right decision. From the get-go, both the owner and property manager were welcoming and kind, responded to inquiries quickly, and were a delight to work with. They made us feel like instant VIPs. When we pulled up to the house, what we saw in front of our eyes took our breath away. The architecture, the arbor, and the landscape where fresh fruits and olives were growing – the pictures on VRBO are beautiful, but the house is just stunning in person. It felt like an Italian Villa - nothing like I've seen before in Palm Springs. From the luxe bedrooms, lush couch, and living room to the very well-equipped kitchen to the incredible mountain views from the pool and spa - you feel like you are vacationing at a private resort. During the day, we would hang out by the pool, push ourselves to exercise by utilizing a hiking trailhead right up the street and explore the town. The location of this house is beyond convenient, just minutes from the airport (FYI), grocery stores, shops, and restaurants, yet you feel like you're a million miles away from civilization. We made sure to take advantage of all the amenities. Every night for Happy Hour, we would compete with one another on the Bocce Ball court and then relax with a glass of wine under the arbor near the water feature. For dinner, we would either cook at the house (the owners have every appliance and plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensil you could think of). Or, we would drive/Uber to downtown Palm Springs for dinner; it’s all just easy! The house is in a beautiful area, and the neighborhood was serene and quiet due to a strict noise ordinance. Just what these New Yorkers needed. We discovered a hidden gem in the desert -- and we can’t wait to come back and do it again!
