Villa Rica: Adobe 3 Bed, 2 Bath Family Home, Spectacular View, Pets, Secure Yard

The house was very clean, provided beautiful views, very peaceful especially after long days spent hiking in Big Bend National Park.

We felt very much at home and loved being there. Jane was very responsive. Beautiful location.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the incredible views and the location for our visit to Big Bend. The night skies and sunrises are spectacular. The communication from the owner was excellent. Everything was perfect.

We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Rica! Everything was top notch. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we had no needs at all. Villa Rica is a phenomenal location with gorgeous views! Absolutely incredible. Location was amazing, views stunning and just had an overall amazing time. Jane was a great host and helped us with everything we needed. We had our little boys at the house (3/2) and they were able to sleep comfortable in a pack and play and bed and still plenty of room for me and my wife as well as my parents.Cannot recommend this place enough.We will be back!

Jane does not boast enough about the 360 views at her Lajitas home. We got some lovely sunset family pics on our stay of the beautiful surroundings! Heard coyotes one morning and enjoyed the starry night skies. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more, all the bedrooms are very large and spacious. Our dog loved running around the enclosed yard. Very close to the state park and I can’t recommend enough to take the drive down 170 and do the closed canyon hike. Short drive to restaurants and things to do in Terlingua/Study Butte and of course BBNP. Thanks Jane for sharing your home with us!

Our entire trip to Big Bend was perfect, including this great rental. Located minutes from the Resort, everything was provided, clean and perfect size for our group. Beautiful property that is secluded enough to feel private while still being close to a lot of things like the Lajitas General Store. Very nice place, we had a great stay.

We stayed in the area to do a little hiking. The house was perfect-comfortable, convenient and quiet. We brought our 2 dogs and Jane made every effort to make sure they also were comfortable. Perfect yard for the dogs. Back porch was nice to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the view. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re bringing your dogs.

Our stay was lovely! The house was very clean and beautiful. Instructions about how to care for the house was very clear. Homeowner is very considerate of the environment and of their customers. This was the best trip weve had to the state park!

Very near Big Bend State Park, and worth the drive from the National Park and Terlingua. Jane is an amazing host, easy to communicate and responsive when we had the issue.If you want a secluded place but not too far from the restaurants, grocery and parks, with a fenced in backyard for the dogs, this is the place to stay. And he patio at night and during sunrise has one of the most spectacular views you will find in the area.

This house was perfect for us. It was very spacious and accommodated 6 adults nicely. Everything was clean and orderly. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked great. The view of the sunset is great from the house. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely book this place again!

This property is amazing. It is in an ideal location between the state and national parks, allowing access to both. The three rooms were perfect for our group of four people. There are many places to sit outside and enjoy the stars, and the house was well equipped with everything we could need. Jane was amazing - in good communication with us with advice about things to do and places to eat. This was a perfect trip!

We stayed 4 nights while we explored Big Bend Nat’l and State Parks. Very conveniently located to both. Restaurants in Terlingua-Study Butte short drive. Don’t miss the Starlight. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils for preparing meals. Property was very clean. Yard is rocky for tender footed pups but had been forewarned. We were in awe of views from every window. Stay here! You won’t regret it.
