Villa Maria [Short Lets]

Property is conveniently located just outside of Conversano and served as a great base site for day tripping through the Puglia region. Initially, it is somewhat difficult to locate as the property is gated without clear signage. However, the host responded quickly to provide clear instructions and met us at the gates. Unit itself is a lovely cottage with a single interior bath as opposed to the two as advertised. There is an exterior shower for use. The hosts have furnished the property to provide a homey atmosphere. They also graciously provided an assortment of fruits, drinks, and snacks as a welcoming gift. They provided information on local sights, events, and restaurants. Hosts were a delight.

The property was extremely well equipped and the hosts had thoughtfully provisioned it with a wide range of food, drink, toiletries and items that you hardly ever find in a rental house. This included local oil, milk and a substantial supply of bottled water. All of this made the arrival process much smoother than usual. The availability of bedding and towels was also outstanding. The location of the property made it a good base from which to explore the region, but the position of the house next to an extremely busy main road (both day and night) means that it is far from being a peaceful rural idyll. As a final point, I must say that the hosts were extremely helpful and informative and could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable.

Wonderful people and beautiful property. Michele and Maria are like family..very thoughtful and caring. Their home is gorgeous and a dream getaway in small Italian town and all the amenities you could need. Looking forward to visiting again.

The property is in an ideal location to explore the region, well presented and furnished with ample outside space. Michele and Maria provide a warm welcome and have an extensive knowledge of the area and the attractions and are always available for assistance and advice. Would definitely visit again.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. They had thought of everything to make our two week stay special. Villa Maria was spacious and extremely well equipped. A beautiful outside sitting/ eating area made the accommodation perfect. The property was very secure with plenty of off road parking. We travelled extensively using Villa Maria as a very convenient base and would have no hesitation in booking this property again in the future. Finally, this location made for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

We had a 5 night stay at villa Maria. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of our hosts was outstanding! The villa was very comfortable with plenty of space inside and out. There are two very spacious patio areas with excellent outdoor furniture and shade. Would highly recommend this property. Very well positioned for exploring the area. Definitely five stars!
