Villa Del Cerro

Amenities- there was only ONE hairdryer in the house meant for 16. No sharp knives or steak knives. Freezer was rocky in main house and guest house fridge was flooded on the inside from the freezer defrosting. No luggage racks. Entire Guest house flooded in rain, and clear evidence that it had happened before without being addressed. The game room should NOT count as another bedroom, because if some sleeps there, people can’t be playing in there. Wrong door codes were sent. Door knobs loose and crooked, walls and baseboards scuffed and worn down throughout the house. Tv was too small for the size of the house, no TV outside. Slippy steps at the guest house.

The kitchen was good but floors were not as clean as they could be. The beds in a couple of rooms need to replaced. There was only 1 blow dryer and the coffee pots only make one pot before the heating element gets hot snd turns off

House was exactly as advertised. Clean and well kept. Great neighborhood, short walk to stores. Host very responsive to questions.

Great large house that accommodates large combined families great. Host was great and easy to get in touch with. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is provided. Clean with comfortable beds. Will definitely stay here again.Also amazing sunsets!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Del Cerro! The house had three separate living quarters (the game room/bedroom has its own entry) and it couldn’t have worked better for our group of 7 couples. The host was incredibly responsive, the location of the house wasn’t too far from downtown or La Jolla (25ish minutes without traffic), and the space was clean and well taken care of!!

The house was clean, but there were several things broken including the toilet paper holder in the guest house, soap dispenser, and most of the shower drains were plugged up so much that the showers would fill up.The host was fine, though contacting them during check in was difficult. We were locked out of the house for over 30 minutes because the code in the VRBO check in was wrong. The host tried to tell me that it showed differently even though it did not, so I sent a screenshot. The code never changed in the app. The host also preferred that I contact them entirely via text and phone calls, which seemed odd as I booked on VRBO.Over all, the house was fine, but I wouldn’t ever stay again because the host was so weird and difficult to get in contact with.

Great house and location for our weekend stay in SD! The house was spacious, allowing us to have a great Friday night dinner in the dinning room! Prepping the dinner was great bc there was so much kitchen space with the island table, and we were able to use the grill. Also, a lot of rooms/beds to allow for a big party to stay at. Would definitely come back! )

Host very responsive and helpful, great space and layout, all necessities included and pool was wonderful. The pool house worked great for my husband and our infant while traveling with our family

The house was perfect for us! Super easy check in process and the host was great. Everything was labeled so we knew where to get everything and house was super clean! Plenty of room for allOur guests and a ton of games to play! The pool was clean and the jacuzzi was hot the whole trip! Thank you guys for letting us stay and definitely will be staying again! Don’t think twice if your booking this place!

This home was perfect for our family and friends to stay for a San Diego State University graduation. It was so close to the college and everything we needed around it. There were plenty of beds for the rooms to sleep everyone comfortably. The home is very well maintained and a great place to celebrate.

Showers had Heavy limescale build up. But otherwise it was good

Highly recommend this property for a large group. We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The pool/ jacuzzi, ping pong table and games kept everyone entertained. We had a comfortable stay.

Overall great property. The few items that needed addt explaining or help w, host took care of. We had a wonderful time and property setup is perfect

Loved SO MUCH about this place Only issues we had were the washing machine not working and an early outdoor curfew of 9:00 with a rude neighbor coming over when my son in laws were talking by the fire/conversation pit. management said they would address. Would stay again if that is resolved.
