Villa Buho✰Rooftop Jacuzzi & Private Pool ✰Across from Beach

We really enjoyed our location. Quieter then in the heart of Tamarindo yet not too far. There were 6 of us and it was perfect for us. The pool was very nice to relax in after a hot day

Super clean and the management team is super responsive! 30 seconds from the beach and so many great restaurants in the area!

We loved the place! So great to have the private pool and the hot tub on the upstairs patio.

The GOOD:The unit is across the street from Langosta beach access. The pool does seem to be maintained frequently; someone adds checmicals daily and it is filtered.The BAD:We received incorrect check in information. Fortunately we were able to reach someone at the emergency phone number to get correct codes to access the property.In my opinion this unit was in no condition to be rented to us prior to our arrival. In its current condition, I feel it is inappropriate to rent it to another guest. I sent an email to RPM with a short list of items of concern, no response was received. The unit smelled very strongly of Mold when we arrived. Bed sheets all smelled of mold and we spent the first day doing laundry. Occasional flickering lights in kitchen above island. Partially clogged drain upstairs; we managed to ubclog after some time with plunger. Questionable ac unit in master bedroom leaking through ceiling in master bathroom, visible black mold in wood near leaks. Inoperable light in master bathroom above toilet. Missing light bulb outside on patio near hose. Overall the unit needs a lot of maintenance that does not appear to have been provided for years. If the neglect continues, the unit will continue to degrade further. Check in email contained a statement about a drought in the area that appears to be from months or years ago. The region has been receiving heavy rain for some time and I believe reports of flooding

Place was roomy, comfortable, clean, convenient, very close to center of town and beaches. Would stay again

5 of us stayed here because we were familiar with the area and love traveling to the region to explore the beaches, towns, and local treasures. Having a great base to operate from is important to us. courtyard #2 checked all the boxes and property management was very helpful. Highly recommend this property for 4 adults and 4-6 kids max. Well equipped, clean, very comfortable, very secure. Close (literally steps) to Playa Langosta, and a short walk to supplies, food, and endless summer sunsets!

This is a beautiful little house a short walk from a stunning beach in a very nice community suburb of Tamarindo. It’s like ‘where the grown ups and littles go to get away from the hustle of Tamarindo while the twenty somethings go a little wild.’ The house is nicely appointed with everything you could need to be comfortable and at home. You happily migrate throughout the home appreciating different parts at different times of the day. Happy breakfasts in the communal kitchen living room, break from the beach and sun in the little dipping pool, late afts and evenings soaking in the rooftop jacuzzi. There are 5 or 6 restaurants within a short easy walk that serve great food and delicious drinks. Can not complain about any of them. Even Tamarindo is walkable - just a little more of a jaunt so depends on fitness level and temperature outside. Pluses - beautiful little house, well designed, fit 4 teens and 3 adults (2 close families) just fine. Hosts were very responsive. Community is quiet, clean and safe with lots of options for eating. Things to consider - pool is small and in an enclosed courtyard - great for littles, but not really big enough for a group of adults. Beach is stunning to look at, but hard to swim. Lots of lava rock, so if you really want to spend time in the ocean, get the tide schedule and go to the estuary. It’s a bit of a walk to Tamarindo, so if you are after nightlife / action then plan on cabs, the bus or rent a golf cart or car well in advance.

Great location and secured, a few steps from the beach and close to downtown Tamarindo. The condo needs some upgrades specially on the two single beds in one of the rooms - need to be replaced ASAP.
